It would be very helpful if you wrote out a tutorial and made a link to it--do you know how to clean raws as well?
Also how did you do the multiple selections? I saw my uncle coloring something the other day, and he selected multiple areas, but I'm not sure how or what tool he used)--was it the lasso tool? Because I tried that and it didn't work too well...
Also because I am technologically challenged, could you tell me how to make layers? Thnx. ^ ^

:O omg how'd you make like the parts where the light was hitting, i mean you used the brush but then how'd you make it so that it was realistic, it kinda fades but is sharp
lol if none of this doesnt make any sense then sorry
Run the brush across the place where you want the light in the hair, then use the smudge tool. For the clothes, I just lassoed it, colored over in white, lowered the opacity and blurred it a little.
what kind of layer did you do for the white shimmer in the picture? also did you use the smudge tool.. so far my smudge tool is over smudging and i can't make that stop.. i think it might be the strength of it.. which percent of strength should it be?
how do you do different colors with the outer glow and with the eyelashes, did you smudge it with a certain brush? i like how you did it. =] Love this video too by the way! thank you!
How do you make your words glow..?? Do you also know how to make your outside your character glow..? Please respond back by Messaging me or comment..!! I'm gonna subscribe..=)
I have CS4, but they may be the same. I only know how to color on backgrounds. How do you just merge them? The coloring on the background kills you. I seen how you did it, but couldn't quite make it out.
you shade by coloring, blurring (optional), or using the dodge and burn tool. the placement of the shading depends on where the light is coming from i.e. if the lights coming from the right, most of the shading should be on the left
Ah yes, and I am so technologically challenged that it took me forever to figure out how to even open a picture to edit... XD Please help me!

how do you also put the lines in front of the picture? with that tint of purple in?
bunbunlikeschichi 2 years ago
On a new layer go to edit>fill>
then find a scan line pattern and click ok and change the color from black to white and set it to overlay or soft light
For teh purple tint, I made a new layer and filled it with purple and lowered the opacity wayyyy down.

The strength for when I did mine is around 50-60
The shimmer on the hair is white on a layer set to soft light

I smudged the eyelashes with a regular brush with the hardness at 0.
