  • @1980vince The people of the Popul Vuh are the Quiche, which are native to the Guatemalan highlands in the Quezaltanango region. They are not "Mexican". I have lived with these people and the Popul Vuh is something they are proud of.

  • @1980vince You certainly try hard to prove your unintelligence. The Aztec got what they deserved, they were a culture not worth saving. Thank goodness all the other tribes hated them so much that they helped Cortez. BTW in 1600's Mexico, Spain built over 300 new cities and the average Mexican lived better than the Spanard. It was their own moral corruption that did them in. Pay heed-lest history repeat itself with you. Su ignorancia es una lastima y verguenza. Iri at mox.

  • @charkee1 YOU SPANIARD PIECE OF SHIT. TELL ME WHAT'S WITH THE FUCKED UP SPANIARD LISP,SO DISGUSTING.YOUR BIG NOSES,NOT ONE BIT EXOTIC. YOU SPANISH DOGS ARE THE GENUINE SPAWN OF SATAN, I WILL BE SPITTING ON CORTES MANIANA.

  • @1980vince You are fun to play with. You don't even know how stupid you look, lol. Eres tu normal? Parace un loco, infermo. De todos modos no tienes mucho futuro. No leas la lengua? Que tal que escribo in Quiche? Iri at mox.

  • @1980vince I feel sorry for you, but you make me giggle too. What a waste of a mind. Everytime you write you keep showing a willful disregard for reason of any sort. You need to get some professional help, you really do. No tiene todo de su juego de barrajas. You aint playn wit a full deck.

  • @charkee1 IDOT STAY OUT OF NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY MEXICO,GUATEMALA,HONDURAS, EL SALVADOR, AT THAT POINT IN TIME WERE ONE. WHILE THE WHITE CAVE DEVIL WAS DIZZY, YOU BETTER RUN WHITEY CAUSE HERE COME 2012.

  • @1980vince You don't speak Uto-Aztecan? You would know what my name means. Point in fact, Uto-Aztecan is a different language group than the Mayan groups. They were and are a different people. They even look different. Your assumption about race proves the level of your intelligence-or the lack thereof. May I make such an assumption? Your Aztec ancestors were cannibals. Cortez records in his journal that he witnessed 10.000 human sacrafices in a 3 day period. The Aztec are not worth saving.

  • @charkee1 WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOUR NAME. MY MOTHER IS MAYA AND MY FATHER AZTEC.THE SPANIARDS TRIED TO GENOCIDE THE NATIVES THAT A FACT. CORTEZ IS BURIED IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, WHERE HE GETS SPIT ON BY EXTREME. YOU STUPID WORTHLESS CAVE PIECE OF SHIT. STOP BOTHERING MY PEOPLE.

  • @1980vince If they are "your" people I feel sorry for them. Ditto for who cares for your supposed race? People are people, but some are dumber than others. Typical gen Y, you can't tell the difference between opinion, reason and documemted facts. Your great white controller is controlling you and you don't even know it. It is their mission to dumb you down and they did a good job of it too. And always remember when foul language is used, it denotes a lack of vocabulary.

  • @charkee1 YOU FUCKEN SOUND LIKE A FUCKEN NERD.YOU ARE NO CHALLENGE. YOUR LIES ARE BORING . PEOPLE GET A KICK OUT OF TELLING LIES BUT THE MOST SUREAL KICK IS THE EXPRESSION OF FACE IN THE TRUTH. THE CORRECT DEFINITION OF A LIE IS FALSE HOPE. STOP BORING MY PEOPLE WITH LIES. FUCKEN PUERKO.

  • @1980vince I rest my case, Funny your comments get removed. Anybody can get thumbs up with alternative accounts. I get a kick at showing how violently ignorant you are and you don't even see it. You don't speak the language, just another Cholo? and a pretty dumb one too. You, and you only have proven my point beyond a doubt, it is you that stuck your own foot in your own mouth for all to see. So get our your spray paint can and write some really brave things tonight.

  • @1980vince You can't even write Spanish right. You have shown no knowledge in any of your posts. The sad thing is you are typical of a the generation Y, you are unable to differentiate between lies, truth, opinion and facts, which of the latter you have not demontrated a single example. You, as your cannibal and queer Aztec ancestrors are a generation not morally nor intellectually fit to continue civilization. It appear quite clear you are deranged and likely mentally ill. You a cholo drogo?

  • @1980vince You are not boring, you are entertaining. Its hard to believe that somebody that can use a key board has no inkling of what reason or knowledge is. You fail to recognize it when it is rubbed into your face. You are really funny, but also tragic. There is little hope for you, unless you wake up and see you have become as the 1500's Aztec. I mean you are so dumb you don't know you are stupid; that's the worst kind, the kind that takes effort to cultivate. I feel sorry for you.

  • The simularities with the book of Genesis makes me wonder if the book is not contamimated by the early Christian contact.???

  • @charkee1 - there has been recent archeology that suggests otherwise. I'll send you a video that has helped to "re-write" mayan history, if you please.

  • you should have some respect and not make up stories. oh but what do you care there not your ancestors.

  • @1980vince The Spanish wrote down what they found. They found mass murder sacrifices, human flesh, insects, corn in the markets. Homosexuality and pedophilia were openly practiced in the streets. Satanism had become the official state religion. They were destroyed because they devolved into the most degenerate civilzation ever recorded in history. They were universally hated by all their neighbors. The Mayans before them destroyed themselves in endless civil wars. They too had become degenerate

  • visit tikal peten guatemala. this place is magical .

  • hey Mseanh , absulutly great vid , and now with finding the popol vuh inscribed in stone at Mirador ,, much more credibility as the carvings go back to 300bc,,amazing ,and all this from a so called stone age culture ...

  • just a reminder, people:

    ISRAEL APARTHEID WEEK

BOYCOTT product of apartheid israel and support the campaign for

    DIVESTITURE of israeli assets

  • noobcrunch, monotheism arose simultaneously in several areas, namely india and babylon as well as in egypt. this would suggest that the idea for monotheism originated somewhere else and spread to these regions. the most likely would be the kurds who were related to and in contact with vedic india, babylon and moses/akhenaten's egypt.

what stands out in the case of moses/akhenaten is that the motive for adopting monotheism was political, not religious, for which he was dethroned and exiled.

  • Yes it did indeed. In fact the Maio people of southern China worship one God called Shangti.

The religion is extremely similar to Judaism despite the fact the Maio people never came in contact with the Jews.

The point is, Moses' ancestor Abraham started

the Judeo religion in 2000 B.C. Much earlier than Zarathushtra's birthdate in 1200 B.C.

  • abraham's clan was aryan, settled in civilized ur where they were semiticized. abraham later fled when the gutians laid waste the region. he drifted down into egypt where he usurped the throne and established the 12th dynasty, ruling as amenemhet I.

you try to establish pedigree...you have none.

    israel = mythocracy

  • zarathrustra was a prophet and proponent of an idea much older, by millenia, than the hebrews.

yawweh whatever, just another tribal god. what people don't understand is just how LATE the hebrews arrived on the stage of civilization. when they came roaring out of the caucasus using their aryan weapons, egypt and sumer already had millenia of high culture.

  • @mispistoleros Zarathushtra lived after Moses.

  • the zoroastrian "one god" predates any hebrew yaweh by 1-2 millenium. the hebrews got it from the tribes to the north.

moses, as pharaaoh akhenaten, tried to install the "one god" concept in order to secure his rule. he was booted out of egypt for doing so, the 2nd hebrew exodus from egypt.

  • @mispistoleros First off, it is Yahwh, not Yawh.

second, Moses lived around 1450 B.C.

Zarathushtra, at earliest, lived around 1200 B.C. at earliest.

Third, Zarathushtra may have actually been a Monolatrianist; rather then a Monotheist.

  • the bible says there's just one god because the hebrews were influenced by the zoroastrian tradition.

  • @mispistoleros Oh no it wasn't. Here is a verse.

Here O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

    Dueteronamy 6:4

This verse was written around 1400 B.C. Long before Zarathushtra. Examine the evidence before

    you talk.

  • Is this version even accurate? I looked it up elsewhere and it was completely different.

  • The most stupid religious fanatic of mankind: Maya codices Few could escape the fanatical destruction he ordered in 1562 the bishop of Yucatan when Fray Diego de Landa in his famous act of faith and torment hang sent thousands of Indians and burn and destroyed 5000 sculptures, 13 altars, 197 sacred vessels and 27 rolls of many codices and manuscripts.

  • All religious creation storys are myths since there is no proof. Faith changes a myth into reality but only in ones mind. There is nothing wrong with this unless it infringes on the freedoms of others. I am still waiting to someone to actually state that the Chistian/Hebrew/Muslim creation story is also a myth ! ! ! Agains there is nothing wrong with believing in a myth ! ! !

  • @REGreenTeam I have to ask this question, if the world was never once one nation, then why are there over 500 flood stories and dozens of Tower of Babel stories? There is no way that all these stories could have been made up if the world was never once one nation.

  • is this actually what the popul vuh says or the muslim koran-i read the koran it says the same stuff

  • what about the clay people who dissolved in the rain and the wood people who couldn't dance and displeased the gods? it was the men of corn who delighted the gods.

the bible is just plagiarized sumerian and egyptian legends but with a hebrew cast of characters.

  • @mispistoleros Can you prove it is plagarized?

If you can't, then you are hopeless.

  • Comment removed

  • what happened to the mud people who dissolved in the rain or the wood people who could not dance and therefore, displeased the gods?

it was the corn people who delighted the gods.

the bible is plagiarized from earlier sumerian and egyptian sources, same stories but with a "hebrew" cast of characters.

  • hey this story is similar to the muslim kuran---allah means power of heaven-its different from the old testament-and the japanese history books

  • Hey, interesting video. What's the music in the first half of the video? It's beautiful!

    Thanks

  • Where can I get this book?

  • Don't you understand? we were created by ufos and they are coming back to destroy useless evil people and a new human will be created all religions same story.

  • dor me, the popol vuh its the most sacred book there is, after comes the bible

  • @elguerreromuisca How can you call the Popol Vuh sacred and the Bible at one time?

They contradict each other; therefore, they cannot both be sacred.

  • of course they are both sacred!!!!!!!the bible came centuries later thna the popol vuh, both deal with defferent forms of sacredness, just like the torah, the quram, and the vhaghadavitta, when you see the misteries in each SACRED book, you dont see contraduction, but if you read with sutpid dogma, than you will find contradiction, Im a mystic, I dont follow dogmas.....

  • @elguerreromuisca Well I guess you can reinterpret. them; but how come the Bible says there is one God (Dueteronamy 6:4 Isaiah 43:10) while the Popol Vuh says there are many gods?

  • actually, the bible does say there is other gods, bit the only one the hebrew people should worship is YHVH, no other god can be worship, and what the popol vuh says is that all the gods, are part of one, hunab kum, which means father, un maya quiche

  • @elguerreromuisca Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

    -Isaiah 43:10

    Please explain that.

  • than explain to me, why does god speak in plural when refering to himself?????Genesis1:26"LET US make human kind in our image..........."if GOD, is only one, why didnt he just say I am going to make him in my image....the hebrew God even makes reference of other gods bowing down to him/her, pslam 97:7 "all who worship idols are ashamed, those who boast worthless idols. because al gods bow down to him" and there are hundreds of other references, let me give you a list, joshua24:14,Gen31:30,Num31

  • @elguerreromuisca AAAH! This is in reference to the Trinity. Which is comprised of three beings, distinct, yet Comprised of one substance, and still

    being one God.

I do not expect you will understand this.

  • there is no trinity in the old testament, hebrews did not worship jeshuah, or jesus,as you call him, he wasnt even born yet, you want more refernces, even with the name of this other gods?? ok, 2 kings 17:29-33, read it and tell me thats the trinity, you must be modern common christian arent you????

  • @elguerreromuisca Oh yes, Yeshua has over one hundred prophecies for Him!

  • but he wasnt born yet, so there was no messiah yet, you want more proff that YHVH reafirmed there was other gods, but he was the only one to be worship, YHVH was "greater than all gods" (Ex 15:11; 18:11); "God of gods, and Lord of lords" (Dt 10:14,17); "The Mighty One" (Josh 22:22); "to be feared above all gods" (1 Ch 16:25; 2 Ch 2:5; Ps 96:4 f);

  • @elguerreromuisca Well then I guess we have contradictions in the Bible; making it human made.

And Jesus said in John 8:58: "Before Abraham, I AM." Signifying that not only was he God, but he existed before Abraham. Either what Jesus said was true, or, there are contradictions making it a work of human hands; take your pick.

  • exactly, human made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yes there is contradidctions!!!at last, you understand, it was written by men

  • @elguerreromuisca O.K. Then I guess we can say that it is not sacred.

  • so you are saying that if something its not perfect, its not sacred??is perfection is sinonym of godliness or sacredness????I still think its a sacred book, with inperfections and everything.....and jeshua never spoke against other gods..he only spoke of his father, our father....that was his message, that we are gods, children of a god, it was not religion...

  • Umm, unless you are reading the Gnostic Gospels, there is nothing that Jesus said about us being gods. Jesus said that no one could receive salvation except through Him. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me." I think you have to chose your holy book; it can be the Popol Vuh, the Quran, the Avesta, or the Bible; but it cannot be all of them.

  • typical opinion of a dogmatuc person, and yes I read the gnostuc gospels, but read this passage from the bible and tell me I am wrong, john 10:34-37, read it....

  • yes I read the gnostic gospels, but it says it clearlly on the bible, jesus refering to the children of God,humanity, as gods, in john 10:34-37, your dogmatic ways have you blind......

  • Yep! And if you read in verse 36, he said it was

blaspheme to call yourself a god; even though though the people added on to the law by saying you are gods.

  • no, you obviulslly, cicnt read, he said he was called a blasphememer, by the phareeses and priests, for saying we are gods, because we are the children of God, as I said, you dogmatic ways have you blind, you would do well in the inquisition....

  • as a humanist, universalist, and gnostic, I view all of them as sacred, I dont have to choose, just because you say so....

  • Well then have fun dealing with human errors.

  • @elguerreromuisca These passages say to throw away worthless gods. Although, it does not say wether they are false or not; nor does it say that they are real. It is Isaiah 43:10 that affirms they are false.

The Bible also teaches the Trinity, while the Quran condemms it. Talk about a contradiction.

  • I also see similarities with Genesis and revalation from the Christian bible

  • English Translation: The Popol Vuh is the book of the Board of the Maya community, manuscript Mayan-Quiche. There are many similarities with the "Stanzas of Dzyan" (an ancient book of Tibetan origin.
