Umm, unless you are reading the Gnostic Gospels, there is nothing that Jesus said about us being gods. Jesus said that no one could receive salvation except through Him. "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me." I think you have to chose your holy book; it can be the Popol Vuh, the Quran, the Avesta, or the Bible; but it cannot be all of them.
