@griffinman13 You know very little about hockey. players at high levels always... always do dynamic workouts similar to this. little times do they max weight on body parts, putting on mass doesn't even benefit hockey players. It constricts movement and heightens your center of gravity making it easier to lose balance/get knocked over. Most NHL workouts might not do these exact excersices but they mainly consist of dynamic weight lifting, core, and biking. Endurance, legs and core focused
@griffinman13 source - I helped the atlanta thrasher strength and conditioning coach at a training camp for nhl prospects. Training for these guys isn't about isolating and mass building like unknowledgeable kids or body builders do. Hockey players aren't body builders. Most of everything done in workouts involves using balance training or being in an athletic stance making it hockey specific. Unlike isolating muscles like the bench press, when are you laying down pushing up in hockey?
