just watch a lot of survival programs, practice to make fire without any help of a lighter, buy cans with food to survive at least a month so you have some time learning to get food from the wild. it will only take a little time and money.. and will extend your lifespan IF(!) something happens in 2012.

I saw CCCP lettering on a ceiling, that structure is old but still good enough. Look up Tito's Bunker in former Yugoslav state Bosnia, It is amazing that it can sustain nuke equal to Hiroshima a direct hit. That bunker was made as preparation for war with Sovijet Union by Yugoslavia my homeland, one of many preps for a war that never happened. Zeljave airport in Bihac, Bosnia, underground fighter jet base also nuke proof, 100s could survive without outside contact. Those bases can still be used.
