@trufflec windows live movie maker 2011. Basically i just cut video parts and put them toghether. In the end i put a transition from the video to an image (the logo).

Ubteresting video. Too bad it's fake. Point one is the sims 4 hasn't turned up on any sites yet. And the sims 3 still has expansion & stuff packs coming out. Plus a part of the video looked like it was done with the sims 3 building tools.

Sims is about controlling people, not cities. This would never happen in a Sims game. Anyway, all this is from Cities XL 2011 which is a city building game.

@ags0004, Or in other words, Maxis worked with EA to distribute The Sims 2 (And the The Sims, I believe) Then EA over took the company without making (almost) any changes to it until The Sims 3 came out. That is why if you by a Sims 2 game created after 2006 it removes the maxis intro screen and changes the EA intro screen from the "Challenge everything" logo to the newly designed ) at the time Sims Division logo(The green on with the blue rim around it and the plumb-bob that pops out).

@Kindofshyness Personally, i think they ruined the sims series, with the making of sims 3. They destroyed what will wright made over years. I admit it has greater graphics, but the way sims 3 is played is horrible.

@ags0004, Well, That probably isn't going to happen because a lot of people won't buy The Sims 2 again because who wants to buy a game with the same graphics, game-play, and everything over? Also, because the engine that The Sims 2 works on can't handle what the Sims 3 engine does( Simulating a whole town, traits, ETC.) Also, Ben Bell was the WORST thing to happen to The Sims, He said himself that he didn't get it. The fans ran him out, and with good reason. He was money hungry.

@ags0004, That is why the first two expansions were mission based because Ben Bell couldn't figure out that The Sims wasn't a puzzle game. Grant Rodiek AND Rod Humble left, too. Now, I can't speak for Rod (Even though I can guess, from the 'door to door salesman' stunt he pulled) But, Grant was just as annoying and was just like Ben Bell. Excuse my language but, Ben Bell and Rod Humble ALMOST single-handedly destroyed the franchise, Grant Rodiek helped by leaving the company at a bad time.

@Kindofshyness Maxis has fault for letting this to happen, but so EA and Ben Bell do. Also, when i meant "looks like sims 2" i was reffering to the gameplay, not to the graphics. Yet they could make a sims 2 expansion that could improve the graphics and insert some new techniques, but not modfying the engine, cause this is impossible. Will wright shuldn't had left maxis. Its because all of this that I hate Maxis and Ben Bell, cause they dont want to build a game, they want to make money with it.

@Kindofshyness I know that all games creators purpose are to make money, but look at will wright. He made money but atleast gave us very fun, unlike EA and B.B. And well, we dont need new graphics. Personally, I think sims 2 for now has great graphics, and they are more stable and less RAM consumming than sims 3. Well but not its too late, I guess the epic sims game we all known has gone forever.

@ags0004, Before The Sims 2: Pets was released Maxis published through EA. Then EA had taken over Maxis in 2006 (and created The Sims Division in EA) and and The Sims 2 created by the team as before, just under new management. Then when The Sims 3 came out the team was changed up a little (a few new creators). So, They are no longer just the publishers, they now make and create the Sims games they sell.

sims 4 won't come out until around September 2014, and the sims 5 won't come out until 2019, each Sims game comes out every 5 years

@mmhh14 How did you get five years? (The Sims: 2000-2003 The Sims 2: 2004-2008) That is three years and four years. Even if that was true then The Sims 4 would be a 2013 release.

@Kindofshyness thats incorrect, the sims 1 came out in 1999, sims 2 came out in 2004, sims 3 came out in 2009, there are a total of 10 expansion packs and stuff packs for each sims game and the expansion and stuff packs are released within an 88 day difference with eachother so the sims 4 would be a 2014 release most likely in september

The Sims 1 has exactly 7 expansion packs and The Sims 2 has 8 expansions and 8 stuff packs 16 add-ons altogether. 88 days in a two month diffrence and everyone knows that it takes about FIVE-EIGHT months for a Sims expansion. Example TS2:UNI feb 13, 2005 TS2:NL Sep 15, 2005 that is 245 days.
