Though not the most popular of the troupe, Kevin was always the heart and funniest of KITH, just as Terry Jones was of MP.

This is one of my absolute KITH/Kevin faves--utterly subversive of macho occultism, corporate Hollywood, showbiz, and puppies of purgatory. "I'm ready to serve you master....aaaaaaaAAAAND SATAN!" Dave makes evil look as cute and cuddly as James Earl Jones made it look sexy. Brilliant stuff.

Writing and acting are both important, and Kevin was excellent at both. But I agree that he is underrated. I have the DVD of the whole series and the in interviews the rest of the troupe says Kevin was the heart of the troupe. They all wanted to write with him.

The Simon character lived on sort of in the manifestation of The Invader Zim cartoon. The characters personality was assigned to Zim but Kevin's actual voice was used for one of the alien leaders. If you have not checked it out before, there on some clips avail here on YouTube and you can really see the similarities!!!

In case anyone's wondering, this sketch came out about 3 weeks after the movie "Presumed Innocent" came out. So, the surprise ending wasn't common knowledge and the KITH did actually spoil the ending with this sketch. Truly evil and awesome!

Kevin is the goofiest of them all. I'm always pleased when he pops up in weird bit rolls in movies.  He was the bus driver in a movie, I forgot the name of it at the moment. But he was perfect.
