  • I've been showing my wife your videos and I just want to say that you've helped her with her fear of guns. Thank you for all your videos and all your points about guns and accessories.

    Brian

  • i just got 1 of these at a gun show these weekend for a great deal.. haven't shot it yet, but it sure feels great. whats weird tho is that mine doesn't have the manual safety....

  • Can I ask what kind of powder and how much of that powder you use for your defense reloads? And what OAL? I've been thinking of doing this since I have now run over 600 trouble free gold dot rounds through my 9mm and I'm using WSF powder, pushing them to about 1180 to 1200 fps. I think this should be good enough for a 124gr gold dot to expand and penetrate. Just wanted to see what you thought and what you use. Thanks!

  • very nice review!

  • thanks for the video. as a person with small handa, it is a pain finding the right gun for me, ive been looking at this gun, now im gonna try it!

  • Great vid falia! You touched every point very good!

  • Superb job young lady! I've been trying to convince my wife to pack a little more heat, but she has the same issue with small hands. I haven't checked this 9mm out yet, but it looks like it might be the answer. Packed with goodies too, we love that. Thanks.

  • I think you did an excellent review on this gun. I recently purchased a Beretta PX4 storm 9mm and I could not deal with the trigger and like you said if the gun does not fit your hand well you shot low and left, so did I. I currently have my gun on consignmet at my local gun store. Cant wait for them to sell it so I can buy the M&P 9mm compact which is an awsome gun.

  • I'm sure someone else already mentioned this, but if the M& P works for you.Great. Sounds like a good find. However all of the things you mentioned the Springfield Armory xdm model does and then some. No pressing the sear deactivation lever, or pulling the trigger, you simply lock the slide back, flip the takedown lever and release the slide, it comes off that easy. It comes with 19 round mags and mag extension sleeves in the box, changeable backstraps, etc, etc. Did you handle the xdm at all?

  • @inkman234

I've handled XDs but I've never shot one. The XDM is on my list of guns to try.

  • had not been interested in M&P pistols until I watched your video review. Gonna check it out next visit to the gun store. Thank you for another excellent review.

  • You can rack it while its on safe. I loved that safety. :(

  • I still want a full size m&p 9. Had the m&p 45c, wasn't impressed but I rented the 9mm and liked it. I still like my S&W 915. ;D

  • I have the full size in 9mm and I love it! I also prefer the manual safety.

  • Very nice and informative video. My first gun (a Sig 226 Tacops) is still on layaway, but I've been considering an M&P compact for a future purchase once I get my CCW permit. Seeing how well it conceals even on a petite frame like yours might have just sealed the deal. Keep up the great videos!

  • OK, its been almost a year, how do you still like the M&P9c? I just bought a Glock 26, but the grip is awfull fat for my hand. I can shoot the Glock ok, but I just dont like it...and its butt ugly too, unlike the sexy M&P. Excellet reveiw.

  • @Itaintnutn

    Still absolutely love it :)

  • @Itaintnutn check out kahr arms

  • So at 6ft. 2in. and 240lbs. EDC of this gun should be no problem for me then :)

  • Because of your small hands I would look at the Walther PPS, real thin. Great vids

  • FP love watching your videos, very informative for the person looking to buy and not knowing what to get and for the person to gain a little more knowledge on what they may have. Keep up the great videos!!

  • that 17 is a monster compared to your hand!!!

  • Great video! Very detailed review.

  • great vids... looking for something a little "smaller" for the wife... and btw, just thought i'd mention that you have a killer body! Been wating the other vids and WOW... be safe!

  • I love this review; it was one of the main reasons I chose the M&P for my carry gun. I also got the Supertuck holster, which I'm still breaking in. I was wondering if you had any opinions on the Smartcarry or Thunderwear holsters? I'm thinking belly carry might be more comfortable for me...

  • @allergic2cities

I tried the Smart Carry with my Ruger LCP (380) and it concealed very poorly for me no matter how I positioned it - I showed this and talked about it in my "Concealed Carry Outfits" video. I personally do not find belly carry to be comfortable but I knew several females that do.

  • I would watch and listen to you teach blind people how to clean eyeglasses!!!!

  • Great gun and outstanding review! Great job.

  • @JustWaIkAway , idk if its the hottest gun on the market, but i know i got the biggest bang out of my dollar by purchasing the sr9c :]

  • First, I gotta say, this is THEEE BEST review of this gun on the web. I am buying my first gun and out of all of the guns I have been looking at and researching, I always come back to this one. This review has pretty much sealed the deal for me partly because seeing you handle it, I know my wife can handle it as well. Got lucky when I called my LGS. They have an "updated" one with better sights and non ambidextrous safety. Also comes with the 17rd mag and grip adapter. $531 after tax good?

  • Great video!!!! I'm very impressed!!! I will be getting one for my wife!!! Best video I have seen on the Smith and Wesson M&P 9c. WOW!!!

  • excellent video, i have had my M&P for years and i learned some new stuff from you

  • i LOVE my M&p 40c. I was skeptical of it at first, but i agree it is the equal of the glock in every way.

  • Arredondo makes good stuff.

  • Excellent video. Great information here, presented in a very organized fashion. Nice. I'll be subbing right now. (If you have the time to sub me back, that'd be great, btw). And LOL, I thought *I* was the only person dorky enough to pull up their underwear at the 3-4 o'clock position to make it more comfortable behind my IWB gun. Heh. (and I also wanted to keep skin oil/sweat from building up on the gun over time). I have a crossbreed, but don't often use it. (retention too high as yet)

  • I HIGHLY recommend you look into the Ruger SR9c. Its reliable, has a manual safety, and ambidetrious controls. It comes with a 10 round magazine with two different bottoms for your pinky and a full size 17 round magazine with the extension/sleeve. It also has a loaded chamber indicator :] i own one and its the best:]

  • @PaulRdz18 the SR9 it's been called "the hottest gun on the market"

  • God bless you for exercising your rights to carry. It is nice to know that there are strong women out there.

  • @nickanator8 God bless? WTF?

  • good choice, good gun for the money...

  • Glock "able to shoot reloads with out any trouble at all." This is not from personal expereance is it?

  • This was well done. As someone who is learning the basics of handguns and concealed carry, I appreciate the detailed and non-patronizing explanations. The presenter is intelligent, organized, and a strong communicator.

  • I like the M&P but in my opinion the closest weapon to a glock's reliability and function is the Springfield Armory XDm, hope you have a chance to check this weapon out and maybe post a video review should you decide to make a purchase. Thanks and love your channel

  • All your guns sound like they have sand in the slide.

  • Thank you for your in-depth and extremely useful review. I've been considering the switch from a G19 edc and this video helped me to metaphorically pull the trigger on the decision!! Look forward to watching more of your videos.

  • Nice Gun: Check.

    Great review of gun: Check.

Hot, Smart, Knowledgeable, Concealed Carrying Girl with sexy voice: Check Check.

Just got my concealed carry class done and looking forward to my permit in the mail soon! Thanks for all of the videos. They were a swaying factor in me getting my CFP :)

  • I think I love you. Please marry me....

  • One of the greatest gun's ever produced...

  • That is awesome, and i love how it can be used by lefty's like me. I was planning on getting the Ruger lcr for conceal carry, but now i may rethink that.

  • I love ALL your videos. Well done!!!

  • are you single?

  • Fantastic review! Thanks! :)

  • Have the 40 and love it, and I agree 100% with your Glock comments.

  • 5:01 mag insertion FAIL!

  • @attackthestatic Hahaha! Yea I thought that was funny too but looking through the cam distorts depth perception. Makes it not as funny...

  • Falia,

We are grateful for your informative and professionally executed videos. My wife and I stumbled upon your vids while looking for female concealed carry options for her. Thank you. In a couple months, we are both going to obtain our CCW permits!

One question: what kind of grip is on that Glock? I'd like one for my Gen 4 23!

  • Nice vid I'm actually looking into purchasing one soon, quick question wer did you buy the 17 round mag Frm??

  • this one reminds me of the glock 26, they do look similar in terms of size don't they? I'm starting to lvoe the S&W MP9 models

  • @faliaphotography: understandable they fit everyone differently, jus thought maybe you hadn't tried that yet. I have mine as low as it will go and even in a tight t you can't notice it

  • Great vid, all of your reviews are very informative. I too have this gun and love it.

  • You, madam, are one amazing person! WOOT! You go girl!!

  • Adjust the clips on you crossbreed to lower it

  • @gibson0840

I've tried that but then my M&P barrel stabs me in the leg uncomfortably. I've got it as high as it is comfortable.

  • Thanks for all your info! Just wondering if you think this would be a good all around gun to use for a first time gun buyer. I am also a petite woman as yourself and would like a gun to carry while walking through the woods and as a home defense weapon.

  • good job, love to see ladies wth guns!

  • Very nice review! It is complete and very detailed. Great job!

  • hey there. are you still liking and carrying the m&p9c? just a trick when you pull that take down lever if you push up on the guide rod (basically pinch the guide rod and barrel together) the lever won't spring back up and gives you a free hand. give it a try! happy holiday!!

  • I have an M&P 40 and use the 16 shot clip but I find it way too heavy. I'm actually thinking of going to the 9mm compact now that I've seen your video thank you for that

  • Do you use the 17 round clip as a spare mag or the 12 round clip when cc?

  • Got one, love that thing. Shoots like a champ, natural pointer and fits right in my hand with the interchangable grips.

  • LOTS of info.....great review! Thanks.

  • Great gun & review....myself still favor my Glocks.

  • thanks for the xlnt review....when you talk about the safety being optional, does that means it comes with the safety and you can remove it if you like, or do you have to buy/order one with the safety installed. thanks

  • I don't know why you are comparing the M&P to the glock, no comparison at all, forget the glock! not even close to a comparison, you could compare the glock to maybe a ruger or something else but not this. I own this gun as well and shoots great.

  • I installed an Apex duty carry kit in mine. Makes the trigger pull better. Also installed XS big dot sights. I'm old and don't see as well as I used to. That front sight is a booger to get out.

  • i LOVE your charts

  • Just bought my M&P 9c last weekend based on a friends suggestion and your video. I love it. Thanks.

  • I think you just changed my mind for my all around compact from a G23 to this. It's way prettier too. Thanks!

  • Great video, I went to the gun store to buy a Glock and the guy told me the hold the M&P.Well I loved the fit of the M&P better than the Glock so I bought it. I love my M&P40.

  • Nice review, I must say you are very organized and thorough. With your charts, the video description, everything. Very cool. I'm looking at getting the full size M&P .40 cal, my brother has a Glock and it feels a little blocky to me. I'm thinking the M&P is the gun for me.

  • If you increase the cant on your Crossbreed it should help it ride lower. I have a SuperTuck for my G19 and I left the rear clip where it was stock, and I put the front clip in the upper-most position, increasing cant, as well as lowering the ride height a bit. I am sure I could lower it more if I raised the rear clip, but it works for me where its at now. Great review I am thinking about the M&P and your review was very informative, thank you for sharing.

  • love this gun! the .40 version with the additional full-size mag is definitely one of my next purchases. You should handle the Ruger SR9c as well, if you haven't.

  • Sexy gun

  • Great review. I have the full size. I will be getting this soon.

  • Great job,,and to anwser his question yes there are plastic or as you may know

them as polly check cheaper than dirt,,all 1911 22 cov mags are plastic and so are

    many rifle mag ar-15 etc

  • Great review!

  • You state that your magazines are made of steel not plastic, what magazines do you know of that are made of plastic?

  • Does the M&P have a unsupported area (feed Ramp) chamber like the Glock?

  • @venturahwy76 I believe they are fully supported.

  • I came across your review after searching for a conceal 9MM and found your review very thorough and thank you for it.

  • I wish I could slip into your pants everyday...

  • Great review! Thank u

  • These are AWESOME guns! I'm a Glock convert after my Sheriff buddy let me shoot his at the range. He carries a full size M&P .45 on duty and this model off duty.

You're right about the grip. This feels better than just about any other gun I've held.

  • @rasey077 I second that

  • I am buying my wife one of these for her birthday(proper transfer afterwards). She wanted something more reliable then her Keltek P11. She found this gun was way more comfortable compared to the glocks she tested.

  • OUTSTANDING review. I'm an owner and I learned things about the M&P that I didn't know. Thank you!

  • Yeah yeah, look all my handguns, this is a 9mm s&w review or this is a video regarding all the shit I have........nothing new, this is just a bitch who thinks she knows everything

  • @leterpero Douchebag

  • @bsdmon I'd second that- I'm glad to see there is a women out there doing these kinda reviews.... I have a lot of female friends with questions, and men with the answers. It's nice to know I can point them to someone with a woman's prospective :-) I mean I'm 5' 8" @ 120 lbs, as a guy I can still find ways to carry a Springfield XD .45 service pistol, clearly this would not be the right thing for me to recommend to a women of the same stature :-p

  • @aodhanof90 Yeah actually from watching some of her videos I found myself surprised a woman is able to conceal so well in outfits I didn't think would be possible. And i've found her iwb holster recommendations useful.

  • If you need an indicator to know the condition of your weapon something is wrong. Also walking around with a manual safety makes about as much sense as trying to stir oil and water. These guns already have two safeties, doesnt need a 3rd

  • Ugh its annoying when reviewers feel they have to show you the gun is safe because of all the shooters that just took a class week feel its necessary.

  • @Warpath2198 Idiot. Firearms safety is common sense. And no class is required to own a gun...

  • @bsdmon Fuck off rookie, and learn to read. Where did you read "guns require classes to own guns"? The fact is, people don't need to see people clearing their weapons in their own damn house on a video. Its a gun review, not a safety course.

  • One of the best and most thorough reviews I've seen about any gun. Thanks for putting so much thought into your presentation.

  • I've been watching your vids....you are a first class American young lady. You give me hope for the next generation.

Great review, I too love the M&P

  • Very nice video. Finaly someone talks about the trigger.

  • Great review from a woman's perspective - I'll be sure to pass along to my co-worker's wife, who just took her carry course. 1 thing I noticed about your Crossbreed holster, when you were talking about the ride height. It looked like the belt clips are mounted in the lowest holes. There should be like 3 more holes in the leather above that where you can adjust the ride height. I have mine set to the top holes so my Springfield XD rides very low in the waist and prints a lot less through shirts.

  • Good review. I'm a guy but I have really short fingers so it's hard to shoot accurately. People don't realize that having small hands really effects accuracy and speed of use if your gun doesn't fit. I can shoot the single stack compacts and old-school revolver boot grips fine, but even a 1911 is tough to manipulate. Glad to see another option.

  • This is an outstanding technical review. Very informative, well made and personable. Thank you for posting it. Please keep up the good work..

  • This is a great video, and all videos done by this girl have been very good.I think she does a better job then the guys on here.

  • nice review THANKS!!

  • Too Big and Fat For Your Hands.... Haha!!

  • HOLY cow, now thats a review!!! thanks, ive been looking at the 9c for my everyday carry. I carry a full size SD9mm, and want a smaller 9mm but a smith for sure!!!!

    thanks

  • what brand of ankle holster do you use?

  • Have you looked into the Springfield XD Subcompact at all? I am going to take a look at it this week. But the XDM 45 is amazing!

  • I've been looking into getting an M & P 9c but had wondered if the fullsize mag would fit and any extensions for the mag to cover it just like the xd pistols. Thanks! this is the first mp 9c vid that actually went over both. Will be getting the mp 9c with the full size mag and cover piece. Really like the rear serations too. Nice that's made in America.

  • wow! you have provided a lot of valuable & pertinent information, excellent video, very detailed

  • The next time a friend of mine makes a crack about women not being savvy about firearms; I am going to punch them in the mouth;and then I am going to show them your video . Your dad must be proud.

  • glock 26 will hold 12 rounds.

  • @TacGuy45 um the glock 26 is a 10+1 firearm so where do you think that 12th round is hidden?

  • @foxvw I must have a rare model mine came with 12 rounders.

  • @foxvw Ummm...perhaps with the optional mag...

  • wow, your hands are small. good to see this fits you.

  • M&P, great choice! I own both standard and compact sizes and both are in .40 caliber.. I have for both sizes conversion barrels from STORM LAKE.. Remember the .40 can be used with the drop in .357 sig barrel from storm lake. MP40 and 357 sig Mags comes from factory so no mag change.. You can also purchase the Storm Lake MP .40 to 9mm conversion and yes must have the 9mm magazine and will work in the MP40 or 40c.. Love it, its like having two sizes for preference and 3 calibers for each one..

  • I just bought the M&P .40 today and I am so satisfied I did. I purchased the Cabela's exclusive bitone kit too. I love it so much, I want to marry it. LMAO....no, seriously

  • i completely agree i love the m&p i have a 9mm full size i mostly use for range shooting btw love the videos :)

  • I have to say you are an excellent informational speaker! I love your videos! I found you while researching holsters. Wisconsin's conceal carry law goes into effect Nov. 1st and I'll be applying for my permit. I found your video about choosing your first gun very informative, and was leaning towards the LCP .380. My question is, since you got your new favorite in the S & W, M & P 9mm compact , do you still love your LCR .380? As that's the gun I'm pretty set on to carry.

    Thanks, Pam

  • where do we buy m&p compact mag online?

  • I have the M&P.40 fullsize, its an amazing sidearm! The 9mm compact is the perfect weapon for a woman (low recoil, easy to conceal, and fits any hand size)

  • Good job. You've got spunk...I like spunk!

  • I think we should get together and see what nice places you could hide my gun ;) btw it would also fit perfectly in your hands.

  • @brennonfultz Get off the internet and go find a girlfriend.

  • ur voice ..........good gawd....

  • i have the same M&P9c with CT laser grip and no thumb safety. I love the M&P

  • hahaha i love how girls are so naturally organized, its highly unlikely to see a guy color cordinate charts like that.

  • hey great videos girl I would love it if you check mine out sometime I have the full size M&P 9

  • Just love your videos very very informative ,you get right to the point and you cover everything nice job! PEACE------------------------------

  • Excellant review. Thanks very much.

  • Great review!

  • You said that we can order the 12 round mag finger extension?! Where can i order this from, i cant seem to find them anywhere...

  • never-mind i

em retarded i take back my last question about your rubber grips i just caught on to what you did to the handle of your glock17 ... my fault

  • how was your aim on the glock befor you added the rubber grip to it ???

  • Well done. I learned a number of useful things, especially about the use of

the 17 round mags and the XGRIP adapter that I was unaware of. Thanks!

  • great review! the m&p9c is my fav ccw pistol ,but it really seemed to print even through video.just be careful and aware of clothing choice

  • you need to get some tw25b on that baby! and I shot one of those this weekend and well I just want one really bad right now. I want the VTAC version in FDE color..

  • Great review. This is what I carry also. Like you, it was love at first grip. I changed to this from my H&K P7 for capacity and concealability. Thanks for the alternate take down option. Good to know.

  • 5***** I've seen a ton of M&P reviews,... But none like yours. :- good job.

  • Thanks for mentioning the 6 round extention option I was wondering if anyone had made them! Outstanding review, lots to points hit in the review. I held a crimson trace 9c and the grip was too big but I see this is still the gun to get (without the laser grips of course). Thanks!

  • Excellent review. Quite frankly, the best firearms review I've seen on the web. I enjoyed your fact-based approach, and you could give professional firearms journalists a run for their money.

  • Comment removed

  • you do a great review and your hot good job!!!

  • Nice job chick! I have the full size MP40cal and Im in love with it as well. My friends arent a big fan of the 40 cal but they are starting to understand that its the best of both worlds almost speed and capacity as a 9 but almost the power of 45 and ammo is DIRT cheap compared to a 45.. depending on what youre buying. But I thought youre review was good. I was actually looking at crossbreed supertuck holster vids and yours popped up. Nice job. cute underwear too. ;-) lol

  • Love the way you say. "I love my M&P" at the end of your review, it's very refreshing to hear a no-nonsense review minus the usual testosterone side comments of most gun reviewers.

  • hot

  • Excellent, informative and above all easy to listen/watch. Definately one of the better amateur contributors on site for firearms. Wish more people were better educated like yourself. Keep up the good work. :)

  • I find my safety very, very easy to operate. There is no strong detent or resistance. Yours seems to be harder to operate. I have the full size M&P 9 and don't carry so I haven't worried too much. Mine was flawless in 275 rounds so far with factory ammo, FMJ or JHP. I also bought mine because it fits my hand and had a safety.

  • I have the same gun but in .40. I got a stormlake 9mm conversion barrel so its like i have both :). Check out my channel

  • I originally watched this video when you first posted it. I just re-watched it, and got more out of it the second time. Your videos are so jam packed with info I missed some the first time.

Based on your video and my subsequent research, I ordered a 9c w/CT for myself.

I would be interested in hearing you take on the Apex Tactical trigger upgrade.

Thanks for another well done, informative video.

  • it looks like you've got some nasty hammer bite on your hand there

  • But guns kill people! Wouldnt it be better to not buy one so that there are less on the streets for bad guys to get?

I realize that they already have them... but if you dont have one, then they shouldnt feel the need to mess with you, right?

  • Nice review. I think the Glock has a better trigger, but I love my M&P. Especially the slide serrations and ergo, thats the best part. Thanks for the video.

  • Q? whats the distance apart from the trigger to the top of the back strap where it sits in your hand.?

  • Very impressed with your video. Great idea time lining the specific points in your description. Thank you for creating this informative video.

  • Great vid and in my expirience glock mags are also a pain in the thumb to load
