holy "shit" (pun intended) haha never knew functional MRI included proctograms since they're usually done as a fluoroscopic examination using barium. I'm quite interested in the pre-procedural steps, i.e. were u laying supine in the gantry with a tray underneath you ?? ? hahaha
That 'gloop' of KY jelly you speak of is NOT indicative of delayed peristalsis. Good God Man! - what kind of doctors are you seeing? Here in the U.S. we call those king of doctors 'quaks'. You need to see a proper physician.
Have you had a recent thoracic and lumbar spine MRI? These scans would evaluate key nerve roots that control bowel function, i.e., the conus medularis and lumbar plexus (less likely).
Hi Crazy - I'm a radiologist in the U.S. Without more sequences to look at, or a proper G.I. study it's difficult to make a call. From what I see here, it's a normal evacuation. Taco Bell does the same thing to me.
As I said before "Look at the top right of the video and you can see my internal organs are pushed down forcefully by the diaphragm to iniatate evacuation of my bowels."
Also there is no sign of peristalsis in the rectum and this scan shows a descended pelvic floor 9confirmed).
Chris - interested to see what you make of this proctogram - I say it clearly shows a total lack of peristalsis in the rectum and that evacuation of my bowels is effected by the right diaphraghm pushimg my internal organs down onto my bladder and rectum to evacuate the bowel - you can see a quick thrusting movement coming from the upper right corner of the video and pushing my bladder back onto my rectum as evidence of this.
Sorry, Im only just starting my second year of the course, we haven't started looked at MRI yet. To be honest I don't even see what is going on apart from the excretion of the fluid..
But when we start looking at MRI and that I'll come back and post a bit =D.
The screening version of this procedure is a lot less dignified!
Yea i see that now, it does look a bit like the internal organs are shifted inferiorly. SO what did you have to get done to correct that? and is there a name for that disorder?
The British Medical establishment are denying there is anything wrong with me and are letting me die. Read more in the medical history section of my website (from my channel).
I would have given you a free exam!!

Why radioactive for an MRI scan? Or was it a CAT scan instead?
boywithadolphin 3 years ago
No you are absolutely right. It was a waterbased jelly (that works very nicely in an MRI) and not radioactive. It was not a cat scan.
