people say they have OCD when they get a little anxious about things being neat or clean ect.. if you have a mild case of OCD, you can fuck right off. OCD is this woman right here ^
@diannadolly oh, sorry. it just seemed weird that you wouldn't know about specific contamination fears if you had OCD. it seems to be a major factor, almost a stereotype, when people think of of OCD. and yeah, i know there's different categories.
HOLY SHIT that moustache is AWESOME. I didn't know people still had those types of moustaches. If they had Movember back then, he'd wouldv'e been frigging king.
OCD isn't just about touching things and counting and stuff... I have all this thinking and shit and it's much more disturbing than counting and touching.
@jonweisberg01 OCD stands for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. There's two parts to it, what you mentioned is the Obsessive part. The counting, touching, etc - is the compulsion.
@jonweisberg01 that's a lot like mine too. mine's much more thought based. disturbing or worrying thoughts, fear about your family being hurt etc. this feeds into compulsions i need to do to stop these things from happening.
THE CURE FOR OCD IS THIS... NIACINE B3, 1000-2000MG OF MAGNISIUM CITRATE (CALMS THE BRAIN) 50MGS OF ZINC AND FISH OIL. REMEMBER THIS... YOUR STOMACH IS CONNECTED TO YOUR BRAIN... IF YOU EAT GLUTEN OR CHOCOLATE AND HIGH SUGARS CAN BE THE DIRECT CAUSE OF OCD ON A BIOLOGICAL LEVEL. ALSO RESOLVE ANY CHILDHOOD ISSUES. AND THE KEY TO SANITY... DIFFERENCES!!!!
I call my OCD "mental torture". It's a huge handicap and does not allow me to get out without taking a huge shower while coming back at home. I feel "unclean" till I take a very long shower every single day i'm getting out on the streets and taking the subway.
Funny thing is that I can touch a woman and have sensual interaction with her, it does not bother me at all but when it's about shaking hands of people from my job office or elsewhere, I have to shave my hands one billion times a day
to suffer from a mental condition is not an easy job, the torment goes beyond limits, your brain has not rest. the medication is horrible, you are never the same. i was diagnosed with it when i was 20 and 25 now there are times when i can cope with it there are times when i can't. but life goes one. life is a beautiful gift!
@NyuNumber7 I went from the counting version to the being clean and avoiding germs (like Howie Mandel) version during the years, makes no sense but that's what OCD is all about . You're self aware of it but you can't help but do it (even if you do know it s absurd or stupid to repeat it again adn again and again).
You should see an OCD Specialist to get the proper medication that will appease you on a daily basis (usually works after a few weeks of taking an anti depressor)

I wonder just what we're all obsessively preserving and protecting for. It just ruins our lives, it's only a quick fix so we can progress to the next minute of our timeline/ routine. You wake up the next day and yet again, the cooker hasn't exploded, no one's busted the door down, the bath hasn't flooded. For the 40 millionth time..... Yet every night, the same rituals and every day, the same avoidance of stuff everyone else is okay with. I'm sick of it. That's 14 years now.
@Kelly14UK i had this problem ever since i was young and when at its' peak i had to avoid toilet holes, talk to mirrors , think correctly before i pee, repeatively opening and closing doors to make "deals" while having to avoid numbers 123567

every time i get out of the garage i tell me self did that garage door close then id rive back to make sure its closed... and i have health anxiety its a torture
If you don't search for and watch "sleep with a jellyfish", then someone will come at your door in 10 minutes, and kill you. The dude has striped pajamas. Send this on 4 other videos, or he'll also eat you.
i had a similar thing for example eye had to close or twitch my eyes but i stopped it with force and soon i forgot about it. or eveyr time i turned on computer i had to make sure the speakers are exactly 90 degreed and the wired form the mouse didnt make any noise when moving. i soon realised this just makes me depressed and just stopped. i just ignore all of this because its very selfish to do these things just because your mind is paranoid. sometimes you have to have courage. ocd is selfishnes
I was the same way, but I got cure. I face my fears dead on Fuck everything. FACE YOUR FEARS PEOPLE IS THE ONLY WAY OUT. JUST JUMP IN YOUR FEARS!!!!!!
she should work at a hospital where most of the bastards don't wash their hands properly. thousands of people die from hospital infections every year as a result.
Oh my God, that's exactly how I feel! I actually have cracks all over my hands because I wash so much. That's crazy, I even do a similar washing ritual. However, it's not because of having kids. It just kind of happened.
I don't let anyone in my bed unless they've showered. I don't even get into my bed without showering. To do otherwise is just disgusting! Who but a really greasy person would want to sleep in filth.
@LordOfTheDar trust me its not fun, and thers differnt kinds of OCD to not just phobias but thers repeating things and obbsessivly keeping things that are conciderd garbige
Continued: the constant pain, even though they must sacrifice their health in order to do so. Just, as chemotherapy, pure poison, is often the only means of "hope" for someone witgh malignant cancer, I suppose poison sometimes is the only "hope" for people with mental cancer (mental illness), at least that we are generally aware of.
Continued: Unfortunately, however, doing so has not granted me ANY form whatsoever of a decent life. All I have gotten out of it, no matter what I do, is a barren, empty and painful existence. Because I don't pollute my body or my mind with "poison, I often think I will live alot longer than if I did drugs, etc. But I continue to suffer horribly nearly every moment of my life. I always figured that was the main reason as to why most of the mentally ill do drugs, because they'd rather not feel...
Continued: (dual diagnosis means both mental health and substance abuse problems). Its a pretty viscious cycle, because the more pain someone is in, the more "poison" they crave: prominent exaples of "poison" include OCD behavior, junk food-like substance, drugs. All of these things, and many more IMO, are ultimately one and the same.
Even though I am in constant pain, I choose to live without lies, illusions, and poison to the best of my ability..........
From personal experience, I feel that OCD behavior is akin to drug use; trying to cover for deficiencies in our existence, because when I engage in ANY type of OCD behavior, I feel as if the constant pain I am in has been numbed, but I also feel lower in a more profound sense, like I have stooped to something low. OCD behavior, just like drug use, is based on lies and illusions, which ALWAYS feel good to people who are in pain, accounting for the high occurence of dually diagnosed individuals
Continued: in that behavior, the more I begin to feel empty inside. In fact, because I have been so thorough in eliminating as much OCD behavior as I can, I tend to feel chronically empty inside, like I am already dead, only its worse than being dead, because I experience every waking moment of ii with utter awareness of the pain and emptiness.
I have theorized that the OCD behavior originated from this void that has existed in myslef for some time, or at the very least, my being....
I've received the OCD diagnosis from many doctors.
My interest, however, is not so much in all of the differen't manifestations (cleaning, counting, etc), because I don't think they're that important. I'm curious as to the reasons behind the disorder itself.
I've made a commitment to stop as much of my OCD behavior as I can. That means that when I get the urge to engage in my OCD behavior, I put up a mental stop sign and say "nope". Interestingly enough, I find that the less I engage.....
Please check out my channel. I used to suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, ocd and agarophobia. I no longer suffer or go through any of it. I have my testimony on how I overcame it all in "my uploads" section on my channel. Please see it...you can be saved from it with no meds, no paying for any "techinique" or paying for anything. It's not a sales strategy...it's my true story. Care about you,
Some people always look at themselves in the mirror because the human body is always changing. Pimples go in and out and water weight goes up and down.
Everything is contaminated. That's how life is. Sin is the only contaminate that should be avoided.

If you don't search for and watch "sleep with a jellyfish", then someone will come at your door in 10 minutes, and kill you. The dude has striped pajamas. Send this on 4 other videos, or he'll also eat you.

chakaman175 1 year ago
i had a similar thing for example eye had to close or twitch my eyes but i stopped it with force and soon i forgot about it. or eveyr time i turned on computer i had to make sure the speakers are exactly 90 degreed and the wired form the mouse didnt make any noise when moving. i soon realised this just makes me depressed and just stopped. i just ignore all of this because its very selfish to do these things just because your mind is paranoid. sometimes you have to have courage. ocd is selfishnes

Even though I am in constant pain, I choose to live without lies, illusions, and poison to the best of my ability..........
yezelsqueeze 1 year ago
From personal experience, I feel that OCD behavior is akin to drug use; trying to cover for deficiencies in our existence, because when I engage in ANY type of OCD behavior, I feel as if the constant pain I am in has been numbed, but I also feel lower in a more profound sense, like I have stooped to something low. OCD behavior, just like drug use, is based on lies and illusions, which ALWAYS feel good to people who are in pain, accounting for the high occurence of dually diagnosed individuals

Continued: adapted to use the OCD behavior to fill the void.

I have theorized that the OCD behavior originated from this void that has existed in myslef for some time, or at the very least, my being....
yezelsqueeze 1 year ago
I've received the OCD diagnosis from many doctors.
My interest, however, is not so much in all of the differen't manifestations (cleaning, counting, etc), because I don't think they're that important. I'm curious as to the reasons behind the disorder itself.
I've made a commitment to stop as much of my OCD behavior as I can. That means that when I get the urge to engage in my OCD behavior, I put up a mental stop sign and say "nope". Interestingly enough, I find that the less I engage.....

@yezelsqueeze you should goto one of those community rehab groups this essay type thing you just posted has hints of OCD in it

Care about you,
Anita
