I'm really sorry to hear anyone finding racism in the skate scene. My experience is more one of tolerance and getting along. I know for sure that the guys at central won't have ANY crap in their park, and they'll boot any idiots out. Public parks can be a bit dodgy. Councils always build their parks next to really scummy estates......

now - I am involved in the running of Projekts. I know that racist behavior is not tolerated there. Skateboarding in manchester is a multiracial business with black, asian and mixed race skaters well respected in the scene. I think you need to be less worried about it all. Dickheads call anyone anything, as long as it causes offence. It's not YOU that anyone is calling. They only want to cause trouble, and racism is a sure-fire way to do so.
