If you've read some of the guides to deck building as well as Pojo's books, you would know that the age of one tribute 2400 ATK monsters are here. Monarchs are valuable in terms of flexibility and destructive capacity. People learn to recycle them. Personally, I run a Synchro deck with maybe one or two monarchs. Monarch give good field control, too. Tired of playing with monarchs? Just either quit until the trend ends (maybe another year or two) or go with the flow.

its the japanese equivalent, ADVENT of the emporer.. i.e. why Americas was called DArk emporer.. so they have an excuse for caius and none of the others.

this is kinda of topic and I understaqnd you responded to this 4 months ago but this is really important and I would aprriceiate it if you answered this question. What yugioh stuff should I buy? Dark Rose tin, Stardust Dragon, the red synchro dragon one (rival of yusei in 5D's) or this deck, or 4 boosters of crimson crisis? I need more staples like Giant Trunade. BOTTEMLESS trap hole, and trap hole, and some other good SPELL or TRAP staples.

Dragon decks are quit good as they are able to have plenty of attack for a low level monster. BUT, it seems you are looking for more staples for a deck. Never get tins if you want to make a deck. I suggest The Dark Emperor as it comes with many staples.

I bought this deck and it's such an awesome deck!I won a tournament with it and all I added to it was a heavy storm.Caius' effect is that when he's tribute summoned i can remove from play 1 monster,if the monster was a DARK monster I inflict 1000 points of damage to my opponent,sadly tho the JAP version had all the monarchs

the effect of caius is you can remove from play one card.Which means spells and traps can get removed too!

ive bought the deck. its more based around removing from play you and your opponents cards, and then use the removed cards to power up your monsters.

ok guys, so basically this is an OUT OF PLAY DECK. There is only one monarch included in this deck and its "Caius the shadow monarch".

when he is summoned he can destroy any 1 card in the field(spells,traps,mons.)

2nd effect: when u choose to destroy a DARK monster your opponent looses 1000LP.

this my fave deck of all! I beat all my friend & piss them off. lmao spil their plans.

UpperDeck ast least, trying to compense us for the abscence of the other monarchs, includded in the asmerican version some cards that are hard to find like D.D.Warrior, D.D. Assailant, Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Helios the Primordial Sun and the Golden Homunculus xDU, neither of that can be usefull as a monarch but at least matches almost fine with the strategy of the set.
