I've never forgotten Ernie. From Adventure Island to the myriad of other TV shows, I have always felt an affection for him...even though never having met in person. That's testament to his acting ability combined with humour, vulnerability and simple likeabillity! I just discovered some old clips here today and was sad to hear that he had passed on. Pretty good innings though Ernie. Hope I can make it as far as you did. May you be remembered by many for a very very long time.
Despite Merve not being the most popular charecter in Prisoner, theres no doubting he was one of the shows best acting talents. Top Actor and from what I know of him Top Bloke.

@embourne64 I loved his role on Prisoner, I'm from America and love Prisoner here on You Tube, I remember all the roles he did. I believe you were also good as Myra's daughter too. Your Father will always be remembered by me.
