  • is there any way it could be a marten?

  • @gchritian712 I suppose Martin's climb trees. I guess it could be possible.

  • @SUSANFARNS I thought Martens have rounded ears also, kinda similar to the weasels' and wolverines'. Don't know. Could a cat maybe climbed up there?

  • @95lisa76 It may be a cat some call a jagarundi (spelling?) from South America. They may have migrated here through Mexico. We now have a couple of videos which show several of them in the area. They are a smaller cat with shorter legs, and striped tail. The stand about a foot tall.

  • I would bet on Feline.

  • From length of whingers and ears I would guess a red fox seen them climb many a tree after birds eggs and things

  • Lynx or Bobcat ?

  • Its Wolfman Jack

  • It's a staghorn elk......duh!

  • thi is stupid if your gointo do this "research" you should have more then one angel in your camera trap ,, just sayin !

  • @jjrrhh11 Got an extra game camera in your hip pocket? I'll take it. Or you can make a donation through my web site in the section Products and Services.

  • I keep wanting to say some king of cat...hmmmmm

  • dont let the dogs fool you- weve owned several that can skin a tree like a cat- the last one was 1/2 wolf and 1/2 samoyed- hed chase his prey up the tree and if they didnt jump hed get them- so some dogs can climb a tree-- just saying...thanks for the video

  • @movinon04 your dog could skin a tree ? lol thats some talent

  • ITS A CAT!!!!

  • @ericou812 yep a Feline cat

  • Pine martin is what it looks like to this casual viewer. i put some links to some photos on your channel.

  • dude your video shows nothing- therefore there's Nothing to compare "it" to.

  • Elk on its back legs standing..

  • I say raccoon. If you look at the length of the longest whisker at 0:04 and compare to the longest side of the ear at 0:14, they are about the same length. Also, the whiskers are thicker, fewer in number, and some are "curved" or "bent" towards the end. - I'd say a raccoon.

  • How about a opossum? Just guessing, I don't know.

  • Grey Fox do climb trees. Check it out !!!

  • Its a deer at 0:37 you can see its horns

  • maybe the ear of the michigan dogman...

  • I thought it was a .... Homeless man

  • The twist or shape of the ear is cat like also so I'd look at the area cats I think .

  • Big foots have real tiny ears. We humans may have better hearing than big foots

  • Its a deer or elk standing on two legs to check the camera out.

  • weather balloon

  • dont be stupid enough to say its a bigfoot.

  • @chinglengvang I don't think anyone has called it a bigfoot

  • @chinglengvang Don't be stupid enough to put words in someone else's mouth.

    t

  • We think it could be an osolot or a ring-tailed cat.

  • @SUSANFARNS Thats the first thing I thought of when you said it ten feet in the tree.

  • I dont know...... looks like a Blue Whale to me??

  • the whhiskers are the clue. gotta be a cat or a fox

  • It could have been a Lynx, it looked like a cat of some sort. My best guess :)

  • The whiskers give it away, its a cat of some sort. Good work guys/Gals.

  • Another thought, I have rehabilitated oppossum before and their ears and whiskers, and the fact that they are arboreal would make them a good match.

  • Considering the fact that deer and elk both stand on their hind legs to forage tender shoots in trees I see no reason not to think that it is either one of these ungulants.

  • i mean how high is the cam ?? how big do you think the "ear" is compard with the view on the cam ??.and i notist the "ear" only moved when the body did ,i would think night animal would be alert to sound and ear would be movin left and right and up and down lookin for sound but i did not see that .are you sure its a ear ?

  • My opinion is Cougar, the ears look about right if you ask me.

It's obviously some kind of large cat from the small cat grouping, (hence the pointy ears). Of which the Puma Concolor happens to be the largest member. Panthera have rounded ears. Your comparison photos of Concolor don't really show the ears too well.

However as usual it's a great job by you getting super shots with your cams. Is this s from VR or WC areas?

  • yeah dont think bigfoot has pointy ears

  • @mcalindenger the thing is he never said it was a big foot :P

  • There sure is quite the variety of animals in the Arizona woods.

  • maybe its a small rodent close to the lens? or a mule deer maybe they are tall hard to say

  • I say coyote.

  • Looks like a cat to me, size would be the question if it is a cat.

  • It might be a american opossum with the ears and whiskers.?But I from down under so I don't no.

  • could it possibly be a deer up against the tree on its hind quarters ?

  • @marlie501 Marie, that's what I was wondering too.
