Best Terminator film, no questions asked. It was more action-packed and fleshed-out than the first one (which is still good; my second favourite in the series), actually made you feel for the Terminator, who'd previously been the main villain, when he died...and the soundtrack is fucking kick-ass. Perhaps one of the best films ever made.

WHAT a truly classic intro! Nothing CGI today can ever have the same impact as setting a playground on fire and just filming it as it burns. Natural, chaotic, hopelessness. Back when a single scene could stir up emotion instead of just "oh look at the effects, i'm glad i just paid $18 for 3D" WHY is there no cinematography anymore??

Whoever made this theme song for this movie is or was an amazing muscial genius who knew how to make music that's so good that it's really catches you in a certain way that you feel like that you're in a world where dreams are broken and everything is gone. This is one of the few movies that has come close to making me cry. Pure beautiful. Best of the series by far. Arnold's death is one of the most epic and saddest death's in movie history, I literally forgot that I was even watching a movie when he was dying. I'll tell you all a secret: the theme music represents the struggle between man and machine. On one hand, you have the insistent drum rhythm "Pa-dump, pa, pa-dump, BUMP-BUMP" that represents the terminator VS. the more "melodic" part, which is more "human". They are superimposed on each other in order to illustrate, musically, the conflict of the story! Simply amazing!!!
