@juukeze, I think it was completely ok. I drove down the street there (you can see the street in another one of my videos) there was sea water on the street up to the fire station but it didn't look like it got into any homes around there.

My friend Jolene lives around that corner right across that fire station and public library! I hope her dams home was spared

I am very happy that these videos could help those of you who have family down here in Kihei. Everyone here is cleaning up and most don't really even have much to do . I was very thankful that we were spared the way we were. We really were very lucky.

thanks for the video. I grew up right in that area of kihei. so its nice to see its safe. thanks for you video!.... the area sure looks different then it did ten years ago. i hardly even noticed where i was tell you pointed out the 76 station and even then i was still a bit confused tell the corner by the library.
