Respectfully,no it's not authentically anything.It's a Bluegrass groove at best.

I play and teach drums for a living(click my channel)and studied Latin percussion and Latin ensemble in music college and had semesters in Brazil,Chile,Peru and Belize.

And I can tell you that this is no Latin groove I ever heard.

Brazilian music should have a Clave or Bossa in the groove.I don't know what the hell this dude's playing.

It sounds like a rock/metal guy trying to play Latin. Peace.
