Sounds to me like crank bearings. You may have damaged a piston in one of the cylinders. Probably not a valve, best to do a compression test to be sure. If it has stable compression through all six, its definitely lower end.
hey retard, thats a turbo 7M too, mine did sound much better stock than that though, sounds much better now and puts out a lot more power to, ditch that clutch fan and go with some dual electrics, hardpipes, exhaust, intake and up the boost, a bov too if you wanna make sure your stock one doesnt kick the bucket too.

i think it's a valve tappet or the crankshaft bearings

rebuild the head to spec, and you will have a completely different car.
I put a new head on my 2JZ, and it was a night and day difference.

valves are shot, the car will still run but performance wont be there, u may need to rebuild your cylinder head

Sounds like it might just be a stuck valve. Do a compression test then go from there. Should be around 140-160 psi per cylinder.
