It's sad to see two non-creative actors (hosts) try to call an artistic film "popcorn". The little clip here depicts two attractive persons reading from scripts while apparently representing the hyper-stimulated "let's move on" agenda of their managers.

it's peculiar how they downplay the actual emotional and artistic aspects of the film in an effort to seem cool.

The interpretation here is biased & incomplete.
