  • we have the best runningbacks in the nation right now damien berry starting . cooper hopefully will redshirt. mike james. storm johnson. clements and the most talented of them all lamar miller. at least three of those guys will be going pro ..we are stacked right now!!

  • ottis anderson

    alonzo highsmith

    melvin bratton

    edgerin james

    clinton portis

    willis mcgahee

    frank gore

    najeh davenport

  • @thesanchezoio Please name the 285 players, lol. I'm a UM fan buddy. I just don't like how ignorant you are. How did Gino Toretta do in the NFL?? He won the Heisman right, lol. There are tons of UM players who didn't make it in the NFL. Every school has guys like that. Miami has some great NFL players, lots of Pro Bowlers. That doesn't mean all of them are great. Get a clue.

  • @thesanchezoio You do realize that Melvin Bratton was a 7th round draft pick that played 2 seasons in the NFL and gained 190 yds in those 2 seasons. Are you starting to understand that just because you comment that every Cane player in the NFL is great, does not make it so.

  • @thesanchezoio Davenport played 6 seasons with 3 different teams, had tons of injuries and is currently out of the league. Does that sound great to you. He played sparingly for every team he's been on.

  • @thesanchezoio Alonzo Highsmith: He played in six NFL seasons from 1987 to 1992 for the Oilers, Cowboys, and Buccaneers. Due to a series of knee injuries, Highsmith retired from professional football after the 1992 football season. Sounds like a real all pro. lol

  • @knightguy11 your rediculous....did u get raped by a university of miami football player when you were little or sumthing ....

  • @thesanchezoio What a strange comment??? I played for UCF. Just pointing out how your comments are far from factual. Thats all. I like Miami. My brother was recruited be Howard Schnellenberger and we went to all the home games back in the day. I root for Miami and I'm very proud of their accomplishments. Have a good one.

  • @knightguy11 so do u think ur cool now? get a life football is over stop looking at miami hurricane highlights and talking shit about them....fagot ...and ucf sucks

  • @thesanchezoio I'm as cool as I ever was buddy. I love the Hurricanes and I'll continue to root for them. UCF is a great University. Have a great day and grow up.

  • @knightguy11 dont root for the U please ...we dont need bitch fans like you

  • @thesanchezoio Sorry buddy, it's a free country. I'll root for whomever I wish. You're welcome!!

  • dream on U fans, AUBURN IS RUNNINGBACK U, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God DAMN Willis was fast prior to that knee injury. He blew the fuck by Andre Johnson @ 3:04 like he was standing still.

  • please tell me where you found the clinton portis highlights please

  • Let me first say I am a big maimi fan. But Auburn is "Runningback U". If you are going to call your school a "position U" school then that is because your school consistently puts quality 1st and 2nd string players into the NFL. Miami has had some quality NFL runningbacks in the past few years, but Auburn has been putting quality runningbacks in NFL before Miami ever thought about winning a national championship in the 80's. Now does miami=NFL U? maybe. but AUBURN=Runningback U.

  • @truitrr cadillac williams, kenny irons, ronny brown<<<<<<<<<<<<Willis, Edge, Gore, Portis, davenport

  • who is number 3

  • frank gore... that was his number in 04-05 season.

  • the heisman is over rated

  • auburn = runningback u

  • how

  • ronnie brown, bo jackson, james brooks, rudi johnson, cadillac williams, brandon jacobs, tony richardson (best fullback in the NFL), joe cribbs, kenny irons and the list goes on and on

  • @xWhiteB0y115x brandon jacobs didnt go to auburn he went to southern illinois

  • he was their for his freshman year

  • @BayonneRB Brandon Jacobs went to Auburn for one year, time couldn't be split between him, Ronnie Brown, and Caddilac. So he transferred to SIU. Search: RunningBack U: On Fire. He destroys a dude in the endzone at 1:17

  • @erickhatesu You're right Auburn is runningback U....I mean Bo jackson, Rudy Johnson, Caddilac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Brandon jacobs(sorta), Ben Tate, Kenny Irons, Michael Dyer and that isn't all of them

  • good list homie..but all the backs from the U have went to multiple probowls..

though auburn has better college backs

  • kenny irons....dude he hasn't played since he destroyed his knee, probably never will

  • im a huge miami fan but i would have to say auburn is the college that produces the runningbacks... but idk if its more than miami and they REALLY dont have the NFL runningbacks like miami.

  • This Would be a great Video if it wasn't recorded off a T.V. screen

  • Next Year will be fun...pounding the Ohio Taint Suckeyes

  • Runningback U is Auburn not Miami

  • u forgot the present running backs

    javarris james

    graig cooper

    great vid dude

  • ohio state is runningback u, not THE U idiot...

  • ohio state is nothing U

  • uh yeah we are runningback u dipshit, eddie george 1 time heisman trophy winner, archie griffin 2 time heisman winner, and many more... you cant top us CANES....... NEVER, WE GOT YOU BASTARDS NEXT SEASON!!! BETTER GET YOUR BUST OF A QB JACHORY HARRIS READY, CAUSE HES NOT NOW! (coughs) clemson...

  • I know you're not talking about a bust of a QB.

  • cough cough ? look at terrel pryors stats compared to jacory...and no you cant top edgerin james clinton portis willis mcgahee najeh davenport frank gore baby james and cooper..and soon to be storm johnson lamar miller and edwardo clemente (storm and clemente..number 4 and number 6 runningbacks in the nation right now)

  • ummm yeah we actually can, Beanie Wells, Antonio Pittman, Archie Griffin (won 2 heismans, only person in college football history to win 2 and he won them back to back), Eddie George 1 time heisman trophy winner, and i can go all day, YOU'RE NOT RUNNINGBACK U DIPSHIT MIAMI HURRISHIT FANS!! WE ARE!!!!! WE HAVE THE BEST BACKS OF ALL TIME, DONT EVEN TRY TO COMPETE WITH US, THE ONLY TEAM THAT PROBABLY CAN IS USC, AND THEY'RE NOT WHERE NEAR ARE LEAGUE!

  • beanie wells and antonio pittman havent done shit in the nfl...edge will be a hall of famer as well as clinton and frank ....even if u guys are "running back U" we are the U ...the everything U so buck the fuckeyes

  • your right beanie wells and antonio pittman have done shit in the NFL, but college and NFL are different, stay on topic would ya?! Ok so you're "THE U" but this video is called "Runningback U" and F.Y.I Miami isn't "Runningback U" "THE" OHIO STATE IS! Maybe you should change the name of this video, unless you're reffering to Ohio State..... Cuck the Fanes!

  • ok your an idiot...if anybody else but the U wasnt runningback U lol( this is a stupid argument) it would definately be either auburn or usc....and we are still THE u also known as nfl U

  • ohio state is nothing U lol lol all of your players are over hyped. every year its the same shit you get pryor and hes supposed to be a bigger mike vick and he looks like byron leftwhich hes a bum the biggest bust since ryan periloux

  • wow you're cracking on jacory harris??? and who has terrelle pryor beat this year? last i saw him he got pounded by PURDUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he couldnt even beat USC at home against a freshmen QB wtf?? are you serious?

  • no wonder nobody on herelikes your fan base, hey remember 2002, when we beat "THE U" IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?! If you don't watch it on youtube, National Championship 2002.

  • @Buckeyesinfor6 Wow...not even a fan of the U, but Harris is a great player. I don't think Eddie George and Archie Griffin have been much help to you guys of late, but grats for that buddy.

  • then why are you argueing with me? Of course they haven't been much of help of late CAUSE THEY DONT PLAY ANYMORE! And to the rest of you U fans, yes correct you are "The U" that doesn't mean you're "Runningback U!!" Thats the point im trying to make.. We have the best backs ever and all of you know that. But w/e we will see next season thats for sure.

  • Comment removed

  • no but you seeeee we r running back U...travis prentice (73 tds..1 more than ricky williams) ,,ottis anderson (super bowl mvp)..edge...mcgahee (holds all miami rushing records) davenport played runningback and fullback for the U and was one of the most important players in the 2001 team..GORE and.....FUCKING CLINTON PORTISSSS ma boiii .... cmonnnnnn mannnnnnnnn just stop please we are running back u wide reciever u linebacker u quater back u coaches u towel boy u .lol...thats y they just said U

  • @thesanchezoio The U all day baby also known as NFL U

  • i like willis the most then ed then portis then gore no disrespect to gore they're all greats

  • they are definitely running back U...but Auburn had Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Brandon Jacobs all in the SAME recruiting class. Thats fuckin insane. Then Brandon Jacobs transfered because he wasnt getting any touches.

  • yea dats hell of ah backfield

  • And Willis is Really The Best One outta the bunch...Edge My Dawg, But Willis Was the Truth....Honestly If Mcgahee Didnt get hurt, He would Be doin what Adrian Peterson doin Now !!!! They Thought AD was bad shit he wouldnt have nothin on the Willis With out the Knee Injury !!!!

  • dude honestly i dont know which one is better...willis is not at gore's, portis' or edge's level but thats becuz the injury but there all equally as nasty

  • @colts2432 No Freakin Way!! FRANK GORE. TWO knee surgeries and is STILL one of the best RBs in the NFL.

  • And People stiil think if you on the bench in college u are a bum..Miami Couldnt be Touched at this time....The Depth they had Was crazy....Practice prolly felt like a game !!!!!!!

  • and the U is back

  • offense: edge, clinton portis, willis mcgahee, najeh davenport, frank gore (all those guys were on the same team), andre johnson, santana moss, sinorice moss, kellen winlow jr, jeremy shockey, greg olsen, ken dorsey(arguably the best college qb ever), devin hester, roscoe parrish, regie wayne, ect...oh and just for fun bubba franks

sorry i didnt have room so i had to put two coments....

  • don't have enough room to list all the broken down injured rb's from thug U

  • thug u??? ur a fag

  • THUG U?

  • Love the reference to "Rudy" on Gores highlights..

especially since he was battling edge's cousin for a starting spot his senior year..it fits...lol

i think the thing i like most about these guys is their class. all of them are premier backs, and none of them held out their rookie season cause they weren't getting pad enough, or didn't like the team they played for, etc.

they strapped up and played like they know how...

i hope they all have great seasons this year :)

  • Actually if you Google search "NFL U" you won't see anything but a long list of Miami Hurricane websites... so I think Miami deserves and earned the name.

  • frank gore basically 9 yards per carry as a freshman he was a different breed until he got hurt

  • everyone knows auburn is runningback U

  • Yea, right!! Not with a broke down caddy(Williams)!! LOL

  • USC is NFL U PERIOD!

USC HAS PUT MORE PLAYERS IN THE NFL THAN ANY OTHER SCHOOL EVER

  • Actually Notre Dame has the most NFL players in the history of the NFL.

  • dude believe me SC has put the most players in the NFL. just look it up

  • 450 Notre Dame

    431 USC

    372 Ohio State

    327 Oklahoma

    321 Nebraska

    317 Michigan

    311 Tennessee

    305 Penn State

    300 Texas

    285 Miami (FL)

  • @knightguy11 ur an idiot fist off the U didnt become great till the 80s most of those teams have been good since the dinosaurs played and those 285 are all STUDSSS u name a guy in the nfl from the U and hes definately producing every sunday

  • @thesanchezoio Like Spencer Adkins of the Falcons right. You are funny buddy. Miami has 45 guys in the pros right now. Not 285. Get a clue.

  • @knightguy11 ur list is players all time right? well i bet i can name all of them and your will know who about 85 percent of them are because they actually did good in the nfl....and y do u keep trying to put the U down..is that what your life is all about? posting stupid coment on youtube? get a life

  • This is my research??

  • yea cuz notre dame has been around since the dinosaurs...ryt now the U owns the nfl. lets make a list whereeee do i begin ok

defense: ed reed, ray lewis jonathan vilma philip buchanon, antrell rolle, dj williams, sean taylor..(rip), john beason, dan morgan, vince wilfork, ect... and hey just for fun warren sapp

  • The NFL hasn't been around since the dinosours thesanchez. Miami has had some great NFL players. I'm a college football guy, the NFL really doesn't matter to me. Florida has had more great Pop Warner players than any school in history, did you know that..........................thats a joke.

  • dont for get about the wrestler the rock..he even play DE

  • IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH THE GUY WHO MADE THE VIDEO.... DONT WATCH IT!!!!

I CAN WRITE IN ALL CAPS TOO!!!!!!!!!

AND knightguy11 OWNED YOU ON YOUR STATEMENT ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!

    GO WATCH USC VIDEOS, HATER!!!!!!!!

OR GO BACK TO WATCHING MATT LEINART, JON DAVID BOOTY, AND DWAYNE JARRETT RIDE THE BENCH, HELL.... EVEN REGGIE BUSH ISNT STARTING..

    have a great day :D

  • the hell with runningback U. Miami is NFL U period!!!!!!

  • Are you kidding tatertits00? The hurricanes have clinton portis, e. james, frank gore, willis mcgahee and of which are probowlers who are current players.

  • USC is runningback U Nebraska is 2nd and Miami is 3rd

  • i think running back U has another stud on the way and his name is Graig Cooper

  • how can u call it running back u with no Hiesmans on SC real Running back U

  • Aaaand that's relevant how?

Reggie Bush fucking blows in the NFL. A majority of heisman winners don't do shit in the NFL. This is fact. Weinke? Leinart? Bush? Wuerffel? The list goes on and on.

  • that has nothing to do with being in collage your nfl career should judge how good you were at collage at usc he was one of the greatest and don't forget Marcus Allen and O.j Simpson they were not half bad in collage or the pros

  • oh yeah and ed reed, warren sapp

  • clinton portis,willis mcgahee,ray lewis, jonathan vilma, jon beason,devin hester,michael irvin, santana moss,sean taylor,frank gore,kellen winslow,edgerrin james,jarred payton,greg olsen,rosco parish

  • wow that's a lot of guys that decided to take a pay cut to go to the nfl

  • "edge" james, clinton portis tyrone moss, jarrett payton, frank gore, willis mcgahee,

  • where's tyrone moss????

  • Clinton Portis isnt in the top 5? Thats crazy. I bet your favorite team will take any of these running backs in a heart beat. Look at his stats dude for real. Im beginning to think that your just hating, and for what reason?

  • frank gore averaged about 9 yards a carry as a freshman hes a different breed of runningbacks its a shame he got injured

  • not rb u defense u

  • USC - OJ Simpson, Marcus Allen, Reggie Bush, Mike Garrett, Charles White - all of whom won the Heisman Trophy! (Don't forget Anthony Davis!)

Texas - Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams, Priest Holmes, Roosevelt Leaks, Cedric Benson, Jamaal Charles, and Eric Metcalf!

Oklahoma - Billy Sims, Adrian Peterson, Joe Washington, Greg Pruitt, Steve Owens, DeMarco Murray, and Billy Vessels!

Florida - Emmitt Smith, Fred Taylor, Larry Smith, Nat Moore, and James Jones!

    C'mon dude... are u serious?

  • True but you have to out Miami up there I mean edge and portis are on the top 25 rushing all time and they are still playing....

  • How many of all those guys you named are in the league now? Im pretty sure that was his intentions on this video. NOW not all time.

  • That's funny! How many of those "U" running backs are better than OU's Peterson or TCU's Tomlinson?

  • This video is not talking about the best RB. This video is talking about which school has the best RBs in the NFL right now. Peterson and Tomlinson ok. What other RB besides them are from their schools? Miami Hurricanes has 3 (since Edge is not on a roster right now).

    Now do you understand?

  • This video is saying Miami is "Running Back U", and I'm saying it's funny how there are all of these running backs from Miami in the NFL, but none are better than the 1 from TCU (Tomlinson) and the 1 from Oklahoma (Peterson). Now, do YOU understand?

  • Not being better than 2 Rbs in the league is irrelevant to this video. This video is still talking about ALL the RBs from one school being stars in the NFL at one time. Now do YOU understand?

  • All glamour, very little substance. I wouldn't brag about putting a ton of RB's into the NFL, when none of them are in the Top 5 in the League.

  • dude tomlinson is garbage now... he was good for a while but he started gettin injured an it is goin down hill... peterson on the other hand i will have to agree is a freakin monster... idk any runningback that is better than him in the NFL!!! but ur completely missing the point about the video its not sayin who is best in the NFL

  • Comment removed

  • dumb shit Ed james was the leading rusher in the league his rookie season he is past his prime, clinton portis is a top 5 runningback, frank gore will be next year

  • so do u like dick...cuz u sure are riding both of their dicks...stop hating and shut the fuck up

  • MIAMI=NFL U!!!!!!!

  • @rickunc I'm a usc fan and i gotta give it 2 u guys. U guys have DL-U, LB-U, WR-U, TE-U. I'm not sure about QB-U but u guys r definentlty up there

  • imagine if mcgahee never got injured

  • imagine if mcgahee or frank never got injured but hey they are still doing pretty good

  • The U all the way. I love Miami, we got to get back to old times.

  • keith byars coached me

  • Consistency, dotted with periodic episodes of brilliance, is what separates the Buckeyes from every other NCAA program seeking the title of Running Back U. And unlike most other schools, Ohio State backs havent endured any serious dry spells.

  • Why do I keep finding Ohio State, FSU, Bama, Florida fans on this sites?

Why do you care what Miami is doing? I could care less what Ohio State is doing. When do you guys play Ohio University this year?

Maybe you know that Ohio State is going to get Miami at the WRONG time in 2010.

Come back and watch a bunch of sophomores this year because they will be juniors when they play against Brutus Buckeye and the Sweater.

  • Sorry bro, Ohio State is Runningback U

Eddie George, Archie Griffin, Keith Byars, Beanie Wells, Antonio Pittman, Pete Johnson, Robert Smith, Jim Otis, John Brockington, Tim Spencer, Pepe Pearson, Raymont Harris, Michael Wiley, Calvin Murray, Maurice Clarett, Leo Hayden, Ron Springs, Vince Workman and Jonathan Wells

  • How are we rating this? Because with that list one player is better than that whole list. TCU LaDainian Tomlinson. The Big Ten is overrated. I can name another RB that is better than that whole list Notre Dame Jerome Bettis.

Every RB that played at Miami, Texas, USC is better than that list.

  • miami is definitly not running back u cuz miami sucks black asshole

  • Once the new O/C sort of figures out that Javarris James isn't all he's cracked up to be he'll likely be working with new recruits and Graig Cooper on plays. I haven't even really checked to see the new depth charts on the team for the 09 season. Last few years have been sub-par but that stems from a fucking defensive coordinator/line coach trying to play head coach with a garbage ass Offensive coordinator.

Anywho.. '09's season should be interesting to say the least.

  • In any case it's quite alright..all of the listed runningbacks for Miami on this page did well in college and are doing very well on the pro level..not to mention God knows how many other players they've sent to the NFL are doing the same.

  • Head so far up the recent history of California's ass that it isn't even funny. I'm by no means downing Marshawn Lynch OR JJ Arrington.. But uh.. Definitely haven't been big names in the NFL after having left such "AWESOME" seasons in College.. Guess that's how it goes though.

JJ Arrington..he isn't Edgerrin James' TEAMMATE is he? Mercy me oh my..don't recall seeing him in the Superbowl though I wasn't paying THAT much attention to it..

  • No actually I tend to have to get up every day and actually go to work .. you know.. that life thing.

It's .. amazing that throughout ALL this you're still missing the fact that.. while, Frank Gore hasn't really gone on to do anything in the NFL as he plays for the 49ers.. And Portis is stuck with the redskins.. McGahee AND Edgerrin James have BOTH made MAJOR names for themselves in the NFL. Of course I see where it'd be easy to overlook that seeing as you've got your head so far up the

  • hahaha you're talking straight out of your ass!

  • Sure I am. Looking at Marshawn Lynch.. sure, decent stats but hey..he's getting paid for them now..not to mention playing for the Bills? I'm getting mixed info on JJ Arrington..never really got sold on the NFL so I don't know if he's with the Bronco's or with the Cardinals.. In any case..his numbers don't seem to look so good in the NFL. :(

  • dude this is COLLEGE! you can't touch cal's production. they just keep graduatin and a new one comes right in. in 2004, jj arrington starts and marshawn lynch is back up. 2005 and 2006 marshawn lynch starts and forsett backs up. 2007, forsett starts best backs up. 2008 best starts vereen backs up.

everyone but vereen has had at least 1500 yards in ONE season. you can't touch dat shit!

  • wait are you implying marshawn lynch wasn't amazing in college? lmao, he was easily the best back in 2006

  • It's obvious to me you have a reading problem so we're going to cut this debate short. Quite a shame though that he wasn't even a top three Heisman nominee after all was said and done in 2006..against runningback Darren McFadden, Troy Smith AND Brady Quinn.

    OOOOOOOH DEAR.

  • east coast bias. durrrrrrrrr

  • LMAO Are you serious? Good God almighty. LET IT BE KNOWN PEOPLE, DON'T TALK ABOUT JAHVID BEST IN A BAD TONE OF VOICE..

Wouldn't want his baby momma here to get offended we're harassing the leg he's been humping on for some time.

  • go play bingo with all the geezers in miami...

    bitch

  • Still buttsore over Cal only generating one good runningback over the years??

    Apparently so.

  • apparently you're retarded. but at the same time you're entertaining. yeah im real buttsore from the TERRIBLE cal running backs, especially from 2004 to today. i mean seriously dude what the fuck is up with that jj arrington guy in 2004, i mean what was it 2014 yards in one season? 10th all time??he barely even made top 10 OMG! and then MARSHAWN LYNCH, LMAO that guy sucks! did he even get drafted??lol prolly workin at Mcyd's. then forsett? lol 1500 yards? he sucks too!

  • suggesion: search "cal is running back u" maybe you could learn a little somethin about, um FOOTBALL! dumbass!

Cal only generating one good runningback over the years

lmao! in case you haven't noticed, cal is the NUMBER 1 RUNNING BACK FACTORY SINCE 2004! dumb fuck!

  • lol, epic phail.

you do realize you just fucking faceplanted on the curb right???

  • look's like blackonefifty is gonna resort to hiding.

you can't blame a guy who thinks the biggest running back university since 2004 has had only 1 decent back. i guess he's talking about jahvid best which would mean he didn't think MARSHAWN LYNCH was decent!!!hahaahaha lolololoolol dumbfuck!

  • I'm gonna' go ahead and end it at this. Miami's defense is generally fairly good against the run.. 2008 season? CLEARLY not. Proven against Cal. Proven against Georgia Tech. Good a running back as you may be if the rest of your team isn't worth a shit then you might as well be pissing in the wind.

  • yeah because all of jahvid's status profile is based on miami. lolllolololol dumbass he was well known before that shitty game he rapes EVERYONE! dumbass! try 814 combined rush yards in the last 4 games. that's an all-time record bitch! and oh, his 8.1 yards per carry? last one to do that? reggie bush! suck my cock you stupid piece of shit miami fans are so out of touch with football outside of florida it's funny. prolly never heard of the pac 10 before this year!

  • dats right bitch sit down when you pee dumbass bitch!

  • jahvid best...

  • Was good. Played for a shit program that wouldn't use his skills to the fullest. That and he shined his ass against a baby Miami defense. Could be why they didn't use him all that much during the season..

  • Could be why they didn't use him all that much during the season..

uhhh yeah 1580 rushing yards, nation leading 8.1 yards per carry, second in nation with 197 all purpose yards per game and a solidified preseason heisman top 5 contender and label as best RB in nation going into 2009. yeah im sure he got that by not being used much of the season. you know...since he was the best runninback in the country and all...dumbass. and played for a shit program? yeah only the best RB factoryinthenation

  • Yet, no heisman. Didn't even make it into the top three. And, who is it Cal plays? They lose to the big name teams when they DO actually play them.. And you are aware all purpose yards go toward oh..screen passes..kick returns.. Isn't hard to amass yards that way. And, yea. Cal is garbage.

  • oh my dumbass! jahvid didn't do KR's only before the elbow injury and in the bowl game shittard! the two sandwiching him on the list(j-mac and dmurray both were full-time kR's) and way to get to the rushing yards and YPC that you just for some odd reason couldn't explain. and "yet no heisman"?lol im talking about next year where he's top 5 on everyone's list. and we lose to big names? like UO in 2007? which jumped us to NUMBER 2 in the nation! wait is miami good? no!!!!! terrible you suck!

  • mcgahee was the best in college b4 his injury

  • portis is the best 1

  • thats the thing about miami u could say were running back U u could say were tight end U receiver U safety U or D-line U but we shorten it up and just say the U

  • Its amazing how many great running backs UM put into the league. Hopefully we can put some more in. Edge is starting to get old, in the right system he has about 2 more years left(1000+ yards seasons), Portis, Gore, and Maghee are all great but their getting banged. Come on Coop and baby J put us back on the map.

  • Baby J is nothing like Edge.

Cooper is a monster, he just doesn't get the ball nearly enough.

  • 3:04 willis left andre johnson in the dust he runs like a 4.2 Willis was awesome befor his knee injury

  • Damn its good to see Mcgahee again. He had the oppurtunity to be the best ever in the NFL. And I say that with all respect, just like I said Adrian Peterson coming out of OU had an oppurtunity to be the best ever in the NFL.

Right outside of Miami's weight room they have a graph that lists every position and different excercises and who did them best. Willis had almost every category for the running backs. 40 yard dash, bench press, squat, vertical, shuttle... everything. BEAST

  • can somebody please make a highlight reel of all McGahee's great runs in tht 1 season at Miami plz? and if only gore hadnt blown out both his knees, my god tht wudda been scary

  • Damn, McGahee was a beast. I can only imagine what he'd be doing to the NFL right now had Will Allen not gone low on him in the Fiesta Bowl.

  • more like everything but quartback U

  • lol you obviously don't know your history or ours. go canes

  • Great Clips.. after the NCaa took away some scholarships from us, its been downhill since then..

  • mcgahee is the best of the bunch but edge made em known

  • Gore has got the most yards in a season so far.....so Im sure he up there

  • yall must have 4gotten about najeh davenport

  • Auburn has had some very good college backs, however Miami is unquestionably Running Back U. Now go take your hate attitude somewhere else!

    GO CANES!!!

  • Auburn is injuryprone runningback u

  • edgerrin james was a beast his first 2 years if he hadnt of gotten hurt he would be murkin the record books, hes still a beast but he aint runnin a 4.38 like he did at the combine anymore and mcgahee ran a 4.29 at miami at 224 pounds.. but frank gore if he hadnt of gotten hurt he was a freak before his knees went out

  • my boy still got almost 1700yds in his first season as a starter....Franks got great vision. But if he hadnt blown both of his knees out, the 9ers would have never got him so its a good and a bad thing.

  • yo canephin, keep doin ya thang boi. Just get ready to add G COOP in a year or 2, then bryce brown, then lamar miller, then Jahari Gore and Clements... Really is tha Running Back UUUUUUU

  • And we have Javarris James (Edge's brother), and Graig Cooper who will both be part of the great RunningBack U, and maybe Shawnbrey McNeal and Lee Chambers, and Bryce Brown (Arthur Browns little brother) from 2009, and Lamar Miller from 2009 if he comes, and Jahkari Gore (Frank Gores cousin) from 2010 if he comes.

The Future is Bright at RunningBack here down at the the U. =)

  • Woops by accident I put James was edge's brother, I meant cousin I didn't proof read what i posted.

  • The list just goes on and on. =)

  • Edge, Portis, McGahee, and Gore..... and we have some guys from back in the 80's like Bratton and others and in the 90's like Chris T Jones and others.

  • McGahee was SICK in college

  • Hell yea, he showed his ass when got his chance.

  • terps have lance ball, keon lattimore ray lewis little brother, morgan green stud freshman, back, scoot portis type speed back, and hopefuly lamaar thomas comes too and hoard 6-1 220 rb from new jersey

  • not to be mean but your dreaming. Honestly that doesn't touch even Auburn IMO and there the only ones in my mind that might be able to contest the U for runningback U. Although Texas has had some studs recently as well.

  • mcgahee was had the most pure talent in my opinion. if he didn't get hurt in the fiesta bowl who knows what kinda numbers he'd be putting up in the nfl.

  • and? Does maryland even have a champ under there belt? or the type of pro bowlers we have? you might have ray;s lil bro. but he had Ray Lewis HIMSELF

  • look no disrespect but... who cares? No one else knows them and until they do something seriously significant no one will. I hope your guys do turn out great but just not against miami.

  • dude i am a giant terps fan but i also like the canes and i gotta say that ur list for the terps there doesnt really match up with the u's.

  • MARYLAND IS THE NEXT RB U WATCH

  • Auburn might be running back U but miami is NFL U
