You're very welcome =). And I have to agree about the complaining and comparing. When you focus on how the music could have been better (subjective), you rip the soul out of it..
I saw The Dead at both Izod shows, and I LOVED the music but I do have to agree that Bobby's singing is just... not even singing. I really wish Phil and Warren would sing 90% of the songs, but I can understand why, out of respect/ego, that can't be the case. I love Bob's guitar work, but my favorite song (this one) was nearly ruined by Bobby's non-singing IMO.
personnely im not a fan of warren for me its just not jerry they should have the guy from dark star orchestra. he sounds the closest to jerry ive ever heard. excet for jerry. btw im 11 years old.
Nobody sounds closer to Jerry than Stu Allen (JGB Band)!!! That's a fact.
He auditioned for the Dead after Jerry died, and would have won, but Phil couldn't handle it, and broke down because he sounded too much like Jerry. If you've ever seen them, you'll agree

Just to clarify Jukebox didn't say that Warren was as great as Jerry, he said that he was "great as", meaning his representation of Jerry was well done, which I fully agree with. No one could ever take Jerry's place but I think Warren did a better job than anyone could have imagined.

Last night I saw the dead, and that was my 6th time seeing them (I saw them when they had Jerry only 4 times, twice without). Warren Haynes is fantastic, and I must say...Yea he rocks and Jerry would be proud. =]
