Look the "freeflute"-Video that I have posted: It shows me playing the silver flute together with a Hang-player. Maybe your Fantastic Futuristic Fujara (FFF) would be even be more fantastic in combination with a Hang - what you think? Is it difficult to learn? And which would be the right one for the D-tuned hang? - I'm fascinated by fujara since long time, but traditional wood instrument was unaffordable for me - not even knowing if I would manage to play it... maybe the FFF is the solution?
OK man, I try it! Please make a D/C fujara Set ready for me. But first, If this is still possible, I would love to hear some sounds samples played on precisely that one fujara
You get the recording of your fujara after the purchase, please place the order thru the shop and mention in 'note' field that you want the recording.
Some amazing sounds. Very nice. But the low notes are extremely weak in volume compared to the high notes - is that traditional with the fujara? For such a low pitched (long) instrument, it would benefit the balance of volume across the playing range of the instrument if you went with a lower aspect ratio (Length:Inner Diameter), i.e. 35:1 instead of 40:1 for instance. One could do this by switching to larger diameter pipe, since you don't want to change the pitch/range, just volume balance.
the wooden fujaras i tryed had much more weaker sound in low octave and it was hard to get it. So it's actually a feature that this PVC fujara is so easy to play in low octave and sound of it is so clean!
After my earlier comment I went and researched - I didn't fully appreciate that the fundamental/low register of the fujara is not traditionally played & that the fujara is an overtone flute with only 3 finger holes. I was thinking of the fujara as a low pentatonic flute similar to a shakuhachi or quena, which it is not, and so the classic flute making rules don't apply in this case. Please forgive my earlier unfamiliarity. I agree that the sound is very clean. Your playing is really awesome btw
I prefer wooden ones. This sound is not my cup of tea

Cool! I've played the Irish flute for some time, but fujara is somewhat closer to my heart, since I'm Polish :) And the mood... Mmmmmm :D
Oby tak dalej, człowieku rozpowszechniaj waszą fujarę, bo warto :) pozdrawiam bratni słowiański naród:)

thanks for response!
since you play flute, futuristic fujara will be very easy to learn for you.
For the D major hang i would recommend futujara (5 in 1) or D/C fujara Set.
Futujara works great 2gether with hang, many hang players ordered from us.

That fipple configuration is interesting! in that it really seems that this fujara is more "maneuverable" than the Slovak ones. I like it....
