Only 1% of the populace was literate, and so during the Crusades people followed what the 1% taught them. Only when the Light of Christian Scripture is suppressed by the darkness, can such abuse occur. God is the source of all that is good, to sin is to be "without" specifically God.

Yes, Hitler was a catholic (as was Stalin by his early years). Whatever Hitler's later views, the Catholic Church sucked up to him (and Mussolini) as apoligists for genocide. None of the other killings cited in the video were in the name of atheism. After all. atheism is an absence of belief (or, may I say, belief driven prejudice), so it really makes no sense to commit genocide in the name of absence of belief. But I guess this childish video was'nt too bothered about reason.

Atheism is a lack of theism; hence the A. Each person is different. We tend to bundle together when we meet other atheists, but that's just like any OTHER situation when you find yourself having something in common with someone else.
Theists tend to differ too. The big diff here is that some of them VALIDATE bad deeds through religion.

This is what happens when you get your facts from Christian websites. Stalin's agression, while horrible, was towards the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Roman Catholic Church was recognized by the Russian government and politically active, largely in Lithuania. No Communist country has ever achieved it's goal of removing religion from a country so how do you attribute those deaths to Atheists? Isn't Christianity supposed to about not judging others so much.
