just one word, amazing! , havent played gunz 1 in over a year because the servers said there was only like 100 people playing but ive suddenly got back into it today and the servers are almost jam packed full. Can't wait for gunz 2 to come out to the public.

And if a player did not learn and practice said exploits, they were severely disadvantaged in any mid-range matches. Yes it is a skill cap, but its an artificial one. It wasn't about learning to aim better, or in say S4 League where you had to learn to score on different maps, it was practicing the muscle-memory of animation breaking. Its cheap.

It's all about strategy, waiting until someone makes a mistake and then, like a wedge, go straight for it. It's no different from fighting in the real world. @VeryMacabre I played S4 league as well, and I found the scoring mode far too easy. I liked playing death match, and it was all about the combo-ing when an opponent makes a mistake. I didn't play it any differently from Gunz...so it's just as "cheap".

@Mikedot I do not see any FAQ, I am just relying on their GStar announcement since it's basically concluding its developement. Whether it has K-Style or not, the ability to make new cancellation moves will pretty much redefine Gunz 2. When you think about it, since its release is again in South Korea, the new cancellation moves will agaib be considered K-Style, only a brand new type.

If you look at the recorded GStar 2011 event, which was this past late November, they said that yes there will be fresh new moves to create, but k-style pretty much defined that game for its fast-paced action. they said they are trying to "keep the spirit alive."

I hope you guys understand that on their description of this game, it WILL allow you to do K-Style. And I am proud of that! I'd love a fast paced action game as Gunz 1 was!
If you don't believe me, please go to their website and read the GunZ: The Second Duel description and features below the picture and specifications . It said the game will allow you to create the styles as fast-paced as gunz 1 did. So technically, you could do the same moves as K-Style, but there WILL be brand new moves to create... which will probably still be considered k-style since it will be released in South Korea first :(
The website hasn't been properly update. A recent interview with MAIET stated that K-style will not be implemented, but there will be a few ways to cancel out moves.

GunZ 1 "unique gameplay" ? Funny, the K-style in Gz1 was and is a bug, and not intentional.
GunZ 1 without this bug = Ctrl + C of Counter Strike with swords.
Ironically, this bug given a most original gameplay.
So, GunZ was never meant to be a game with "original gameplay", the bug (K-style) was that made the gameplay more original.
So...² do not complain about the level of originality of GunZ 2 if GunZ 1 has never been original too.

I played gunz for many years and I don't like what I see.
Things that should be improved.
- Remove bulky guy, he belongs in team fortress or something
- Don't dumb-down the gameplay, gunz was popular for it's unique gameplay, don't ruin it
- Don't remove animation canceling
- Don't slow down the game, people were posting their finger movement, with their high apm, don't dumb it down, make it even more fast than gunz 1
- Don't be a craving whore on other games, let the old unique gunz shine

No shit, sherlock. Of course GunZ came before S4 and TF2. I was making a JOKE, and if you bothered to read any of the comments that came afterwards, you would have realized this. God, does anyone on YouTube have any sense of reading comprehension?

I like the graphics but i hate the gameplay. GunZ was so fluid with its gameplay, and the people here are struggling to move around....

@Mikedot Oh I see it now, but it says there are new tactics and styles. since it's basically from scratch... like I said, new k-style, since they put it that way.

@Mikedot I do not see any FAQ, I am just relying on their GStar announcement since it's basically concluding its developement. Whether it has K-Style or not, the ability to make new cancellation moves will pretty much redefine Gunz 2. When you think about it, since its release is again in South Korea, the new cancellation moves will agaib be considered K-Style, only a brand new type.

Ehhh...this game has none of the appeal that the original GunZ has.
In my opinion, GunZ 2 looks more like a normal TPS like Team Fortress or something.
A game like GunZ came about by accident and I don't think another game will be made like it ever again.

@Mikedot Are you sure about that? The interviews on youtube are clearly outdated. If you look at the recorded GStar 2011 event, which was this past late November, they said that yes there will be fresh new moves to create, but k-style pretty much defined that game for its fast-paced action. they said they are trying to "keep the spirit alive."

I hope you guys understand that on their description of this game, it WILL allow you to do K-Style. And I am proud of that! I'd love a fast paced action game as Gunz 1 was!

If you don't believe me, please go to their website and read the GunZ: The Second Duel description and features below the picture and specifications . It said the game will allow you to create the styles as fast-paced as gunz 1 did. So technically, you could do the same moves as K-Style, but there WILL be brand new moves to create... which will probably still be considered k-style since it will be released in South Korea first :(

The website hasn't been properly update. A recent interview with MAIET stated that K-style will not be implemented, but there will be a few ways to cancel out moves.

Stay far away from this game, i'd rather play a game with skill and actual gun play. K-style was for retarded babies who wanted an unfair advantage over everyone by exploiting glitches. People who rage and smash their hardware because they lose in a PC game. Get over it, the developers don't want to cater to your stupid style anymore.
