People make youre complaints COUNTS, FORMAL and OFFICIAL.

File a complaint at Better Business Bureau or BBB.

BBB will deal with them and the bank will have no choice but to deal and resolved youre complaint thru BBB.

BBB is the credit score for businesses. The lower their BBB score's, the less likely will get support from gov't and other business.

Make youre complaints count.

I got a check from my Insurance company and they used BofA as their Bank. Guess what. They charged me $5 to cash their own check at their own bank saying, you don't have an account with us. LOL! So if you don't have an account with BofA and you write a check and want to cash it at their bank then they will charge you $5 to cash their own checks! I couldn't believe it, but it's true. LOL!

I will be reading that book. The same thing happened to me, but the corporation was Sprint. I refused to commit fraud and they let me go. As my supervisor walked me out she was in tears and said what was happening to me was immoral. She was right but I guess I'm not alone. I've been wondering what's causing corporations to behave this way. Hopefully that book will answer my questions. Again, thanks for the information.

People act like consumers are "stealing". But banks lend out 10x the money they have on hand, How is that not fraud? This is a fact: for every $1 in cash a bank has they can create $10 in loans from it. Yet people want to defend these greedy mofos and act like 30% interest rates are "reasonable" when they purposely give out bad loans and make most of their profits from the late fees and interest, then the rest they just charge off which gets rid of the tax burden.

The problem is that the banks ENCOURAGE this loan spending as much as possible, telling us it will all be ok, we won't have any problems, we can make the minimum payments for years and we won't have to worry, ha. Yes, the banks are assholes for doing what they do, however i feel that we need willpower to at least NOT go foor these loans when the idea presents itself.

yeah, the problem is that because of the 1/10 lending ratio (some mortgage companies went up as high as 1/30) the banks don't care as much about defaults as you might think and they actually make more money on late fees and interest. It's not like they lose the principal if someone doesn't pay back, as only 10% has to be collected to "break even", which is why they can justify giving out bad loans that they know are going to default. Educating consumers is a solution.

After high school I went work at this giant building called the Shell Oil Co credit card center - a Corp. While working there I witnessed continual human rights and civil rights violations, sexual harassment violations and all the bosses were in on it. I knew I couldn't do anything but work and keep my mouth shut but I realized that the Corp had become a separate entity making up their own laws and they were so big no one could do anything.
