30 yrs ago I fell in love with a girl & she with me. We both had partners, so nothing good would've come from it.
I sang this to her - we cried, kissed & parted. We met once more at an office reunion 15 yrs later. I was single, she was with the same man, but it didn't matter - one look was all it took to know that we'd made a mistake.
I found out last year that she died suddenly at home 5 yrs ago.
Almost 20 yrs ago, I had the same experience, only she sang it to me, in front of a crowd. Her marriage didn't work out but she's remarried and is very happy.
We're still both alive but have always lived in different countries.
I miss her too but have managed to avoid thinking about the past all the time.

@jackson5781 Oh, I'm really sorry Jackson for what you've been through w/ your ex. I can relate, I , too was accused by my ex for cheating on him when I never did either. How could I?? I was really IN LOVE with him. I did th same, explain that I never cheated and he didn't believe me. He believed in the lies of his friends. The break up was hard on me that I cried for a long time & getting over him took me years. I thought to myself that day I never wanted to fall in love again. So, I hear you.

She sees on tv the sterio-typical guy who cheats and tells all his buddy's that he's cool...... she doesn't want to be made a fool and will take it out on you or whoever she is dating. she is hurt i know i have been doing this my whole life. @jackson5781 Sometimes people accuse others of things they themselves have done. The term for it is "projection." Has she herself been acting suspiciously? I too was once accused of cheating by a girl when I didn't only for it to be revealed that she did cheat and was looking for excuses to justify it.

@jackson5781 Bro..I had a similar situation. As soon as she began accusing me, I knew right away that she was the one who was cheating. I eventually confirmed it & booted her out on her ass. Plenty more out there..good luck

@MrJCigelske Both my husbands did that. In both marriages, I had to be away for extended periods, and when I returned, they used practically the same words, too. "Did you find someone else?" The first time I suspected something, because my girlfriend had seen him with someone, the 2nd time, I knew it was over as soon as the words were out of his mouth... though I denied it and fought tooth and nail anyway.

30 yrs ago I fell in love with a girl & she with me. We both had partners, so nothing good would've come from it.
I sang this to her - we cried, kissed & parted. We met once more at an office reunion 15 yrs later. I was single, she was with the same man, but it didn't matter - one look was all it took to know that we'd made a mistake.
I found out last year that she died suddenly at home 5 yrs ago.
I miss her.

Almost 20 yrs ago, I had the same experience, only she sang it to me, in front of a crowd. Her marriage didn't work out but she's remarried and is very happy.
We're still both alive but have always lived in different countries.
I miss her too but have managed to avoid thinking about the past all the time.
