The only time that I've seen Boz Scaggs was in January, 1970. It was at the Swing Auditorium in San Berdoo. I didn't know who he was; I thought the name was made-up, like Led Zepp. He had about 12 side-men, including a SIX piece horn section that is still the tightest and hotest I've ever heard. Mr. Duane Allman, of course, shared the front of the stage with Boz. Boz opened, followed by Bread (boring), and then Carlos Santana. With the exception of Bread, it is one of the best concerts I've seen

Older yes, but just as smooth and great as he has been throughout his career. I remember when "Lowdown" from Silk Degrees hit the airwaves..everyone was mezmerized. Jazz and rock fused!! Boz was the man, and Silk Degrees was the biggest selling album up til that time. Have always liked his music and will continue to. He still performs great as in this number. Carry on Boz, carry on.
