  • Wonderful. I love Rio's Bossa Nova.

  • One word......Brilliant !

  • I think this is the best, simple as that!

  • The best version of this song I have ever heard. Swing Out Sister is the bomb; one of my all time favorites.

  • can someone plz post the instrumental?? it was up and then it got deleted ;( very upset ;(

  • cade a cultura BRASIL ?????

  • This song is amazing. It's just a list of experiences, and yet it brings a wash of feelings. the playtime between the two voices makes it all fun. I'm sorry the song ends every time I hear it. Antonio Carlos Jobim was a gift.

  • What a delicious version of the most perfect pop song to ever come out of Brazil! Akiko and Corinne stepped into Elis Regina's shoes, and walked away with them. And I love the SOS touch towards the end of the song! Just marvelous! And the laughing at the end is perfect!

  • I never liked this song--no offense to Tom Jo. I always found it to be self-indulgent and repetitive. HOWEVER, this version is beyond bearable. Great job, ladies. I could do without the giggles at 3:05 that were a direct copy of one of the Jobim versions, although they do develop this device. The arrangement gets interesting as it goes along, too, which is a plus.

  • I agree that this is the best version ever. Elegant.

Amazing!! A lot of fun to dance to, and one that will keep giving you energy to dance. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • This version and the Basia version 2 best ones

  • fantastiche

  • I like Art Garfunkel's version!!!

  • Fabulous track. Maybe Swing Out Sister should do a bossa nova album?

  • Such a BEAUTIFUL tune! The 25 seconds beginning at 3:13 are simply transcendent.......THANKS for the post!

  • @mrsid45 Hey, thanks for that.. I secretly thought exactly the same..

  • @iiiiiiandy You sir are a hero to me......Thrilled to get a comment on my comment!! Best Wishes to you and yours!!

  • I've heard different versions from great artists, but this is the best! Thank you Akiko & Corrinne for this amazing version... it helps me relax :)

  • Soooooo beautiful.... thanks so much.

  • A great, classic song, brilliantly covered. So much fun.

  • Timeless....

  • God, that's the best english version of this song.....amazing!!!!!

  • Wow... Consider me blown away. I've been a fan of Corinne Drewery for years, and this is among the best stuff she's done. I'm unfamiliar with Akiko, but after this, I'm going to have to look into her. Thanks for posting this!

  • Nice work Capturing past & current cd covers & photos. Have been a fan since the 80's!

  • I adore this song. Perfect synergy between two artists and IMHO, the best cover of the tune out there. I actually tried to download it from a foreign pay site and I got a bleedin' virusfrom it. Anyone know of a way I can get a download of the full length version of this out of print title?

  • FANTASTIC! SUPERB! Corrine ROCKS!

  • Every time i visit this song I think to myself: "I had forgotten how cool this tune is."

What a lovely, inspiring tune by Akiko and Corrine. the give and take the response and call. the arrangment is superb. What an artistic milestone. Love it. Love it. Love it.

  • Superb! Tom Jobim would surely have loved this version of his "Águas de março". BTW, I'm impressed by how much Japanese musicians appreciate Brazilian music! And they do a very good job both in reinterpreting what's already been recorded by Brazilian artists and in creating new songs with a blend of tradicional Brazilian rhythms, such as samba and bossa, and modern electronic trends. Just have a check at Jazztronik and Mondo Grosso to see what I mean.

  • Well, there are lots of Japanese descendants living in Brazil, so Japan and Brazil are in good terms. There's even a Japanese singer who was born in Brazil, called Lisa Ono, who sings bossa-nova. She's pretty good, by the way. Check her work out, maybe you'll like it :)

  • @renatoaccioly Oh I love Lisa Ono, she is the queen of bossa nova at japan, I love her music, especially Jambalaya

  • @jalvares1980 You must enjoy the music The Girl from Ipanema at Pizzicato Five Version, and listen Lisa Ono

  • Is that Andy on piano?

  • A friend obtained a pay for download version of this song for me.

Unfortunately, the version I have is missing the last 30 or so seconds in this great version.

Can somebody direct me to the CD with the extended Waters of March.

I absolutely love this, Corrine and Akiko.

    Saludes de ocupado Tejas

  • The song is on the CD "Electric Bossa", which can be obtained easily (the other content is not that good, but this song alone is just worth the purchase).

  • This comes from a Brazilian: this version is absolutely fantastic!!! It captured brilliantly the essence of the song - joy for the fantastic mystery that life is... Long life to Corinne and Andy! and Akiko!

  • i love the this version of the song.

  • I love her little "slight" giggles, on words throughout. She can always make herself sound so cute or cool on songs(smile).

  • The best part is at those part, they actually fuck up the lyrics. It's incredibly endearing.

  • Superb synchronicity of 2 singers, perfectly timed with slight delay for that "swing" hook, and a joy d' vivre arrangement so resonanting!

  • Everyone visit the SOS myspace page to see their latest video promo in HD

  • This is about the only song, you can actually pick up on Corinne's English accent while she is singing. Interesting! Fun song!

  • SOS are realeasing a new album (at last) called Beautiful Mess. Its released in Japan on 27th Feb!

  • I've been trying to find this song on CD but so far no luck. I'll keep looking 'cause it's got Corinne....'nuf said.

  • flippin fantastic, could i love Corinne anymore, the answer is yes because she keeps doing good music, more to expect and more to love, keep showing this planet what peace, class and music is all about. also i like this Akiko!!!!

  • love it love it love it ... I hope that they duet in one of the future SOS albums :)))

  • SOS has just completed a new album, it will probably be released in the next few months!

  • WOW good to know :) Thank you :)

  • 素晴らしい歌

  • i love this cover sound so good great and clear voices...for me the best cover of waters of march! corinne and akiko good job girls!!

  • This song, written by Antonio Carlos Jobim (of course), is my favorite song of all time. And, while this is a very interesting version, I'm not crazy about the silliness at the end (but I do love Corinne Drewery/Swing Out Sister, and Basia, who also did a great version), the ultimate cover of this brilliant song was recorded by Sergio Mendes and Brasil '88.

    That versioin is beyond perfection.

  • this song always produces that "joy in my heart"

  • Holy Shit! This is good. Maybe the perfect cover of this song.

  • L O V E I T !!! I wish that goes to the next album :)))

  • wow this is the best version ever

    wow

  • It's the best VERSION yet. AMAZING tunese especially in the middle with typical S.O.S. melodies.
