I actually think Tuck sounds better live. He have an almost enervating tone on the album which is gone here. And Metallica sounding the same live as in the studio? Only when compared to St. Anger, where James's taking the wrong note wasn't corrected afterwards. I'm a big Metallica fan, but Hetfield don't have the most accurate voice. However I agree the screaming sounds like.. meh...

They sound really, and play really good live. As for Metallica, I went to their concert in Yankee Stadium (I am a college student living in the Bronx) and Metallica sounds different live. Trust me, I witnessed their performance in front of another 70 thousand people and they don't sound the same.
