I know I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but talk about poorly directed... It felt like one big mash-up of broken or ignored cinematic conventions. If they ever end up making a live-action Halo movie, don't let them give it to Blomkamp...

I think Blomkamp has the ability to do it. He did an amazing job with these shorts, and we've seen what he did with District 9. If anyone does it, he should. He's proven himself worthy, therefore he deserves the opportunity.

The reason it came up for District 9 is because Neil Bloomkamp directed both this and District 9.

This (If you read the title) was merely a promotional video he did for Halo 3.

After the fiasco about the Halo movie, they had lots of already made props/costumes/ a warthog.
