This is my favourite Kula Shaker track. I can't even tell you, objectively, why. It is a puerly aesthetic response: it is uplifting, beautiful, and inspiring - it also takes me back to the 90s when I was 'in love' with Brit Pop/Indie, especially Kula Shaker. So, I guess this is partly nostalgic. Hey ho...
No-one Seems To Realise There Is A Secret Track hidden after "Hollow Man" is a recording of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, speaking about his own guru. Strange, Right?
I agree with other posters. A truly great album, and this is one of the stand out tracks. The key change at 2:25 is one of the best you will ever hear, cherish it!
K was regarded a classic by many until the music industry turned on Kula Shaker, and then suddenly it was forgotten about. I just about remember Q Magazine advertising a "100 Greatest Albums" poll by having a dig on the fact K made their previous poll. What a fickle bunch the music industry and some music fans are. But just like everyone who has posted comments here, K will always be a classic in my view, and this is an amazing ending to an album. 'K' will always mean a lot to me!
i fucking love this album, from start to finish every song is amazing, this tho is my favourite, such a good ending to the record. If i ever have kids they will be forced to listen to this album so that it never dies!!!!
i can never understand why kula shaker were so reviled by the music press,K was and still is a great album,to me it evoked the days of classic 70s rock,at least they were brave enough to throw it out there!
It reminds King Crimson from In The Court Of The Crimson King and Red, Pink Floyd from Meddle & the Led Zeppelin's semi-acoustic songs from Volume I & II.
This is beautiful, I even remember the 14 minutes (I think?) of silence afterwards leading up to the so-called "hidden track" and then it turned out to be an Eastern sounding man saying something very strange!
believe it not so did i mate!! i just went too far and damaged myself irreparably,im like a recovering alcoholic now ,i cant touch drink or grugs ,(well maybe a little smoke now n then :)
this band blow fucking oasis out the planet in my opinion

@TheLimabean45 on the second album you had to rewind the precount of the last song as it was layered underneath very well hidden

One of the stellar Rock epics, an impressive and memorable finale to one of the finest recordings of the '90s.

this album is a lost and forgotten masterpiece... its a damn shame.

Anybody noted the reminisence of this song in "Faust Arp" (track 6 In Rainbows)? Anyway, both songs are "daugthers" of Beatles' Julia, too.
I love Kula Shaker. It's a shame that the media buried them after Crispian's words in 1999. He was misunderstood i think.

The best way to close an LP.
It reminds King Crimson from In The Court Of The Crimson King and Red, Pink Floyd from Meddle & the Led Zeppelin's semi-acoustic songs from Volume I & II.
K is one of my favourite albums of the all time.
