@robgalbenu 1) Can it LEARN DD? 2) If so, potentially. 2 DD = 1 SD + 1 Agility, so turnwise its the same, but if I can only get one turn (which happens a few times with this team) then its situational. Some of the times I needed to beat a scarfer, thus needed Agility. The hope is that I get 2 or more turns anyway I suppose.

It wasn't really a serious team. I was dragged into playing one match and figured if I have it, I may as well play a few other people. I know squat about Ubers.

@Mahobu10 These Ubers are Sav'd. Hence the use of Heart Gold instead of Diamond.

I was once part of the very-legit heavy game in 2007, but times slowly change and its impossible to prevent Sav users, you have to accept them. But I don't allow anything that isn't legal to obtain under normal cart play---including certain yet unobtainable pokes/event moves/etc.

@EvanSSBB Because pokemon are made up things with generated names that aren't real, and a single combination of letters can be pronounced a multiple of different ways---especially in English---which I happen to know very well.

I pronounce the words how I like, and according to the construction of the letters. Remember when you're a kid and your mom says "Say it how it's spelled?" Thats what I'm doing, its Pokemon themselves who mix stuff up for kicks and MAKE the names be "wrong".

I will say SR might make Ho-Oh one of the lesser options in Ubers, but I don't play Ubers so I don't really know for sure. All I can say is that it DEFINITELY shouldn't be bumped down to OU. I would stop playing if that happened.

@PokeRimKiz Umbreon is one of few who can pass a trap. (Mean look, Block) and is a very sturdy one at that. Plus he gets a sleep move......kind of......in Yawn.

If you build a team around it, that is, not like how this one is but a full BP team... you pull off a sleeping trap pass and its GG.

Mew is also base 100-all, while Umbreon has higher Def and Sp Def. Both pokemon have good typing for Ubers as well.

@poopzy13 Well for starters.... Pokes in Ubers are not in ubers because they are Uber. Uber wasn't really even a tier at first, its just a void where stuff that isn't allowed in OU play goes to.

Ho-oh still remains far too powerful for OU play. Claiming SR as a common move is not a be-all-end-all reason for where pokes should go. What if they don't use it, what if you spin, or taunt, the metagame wasn't always SR heavy--maybe that will change, etc. Even at half health, he's got too much.
