  • I've had that happen a couple of times with my Yngling on Lake Michigan. Of course I blamed it on the small rudder and large waves. ;-)

  • I've been in a moody 335 and had a scarier broach than that. Not with a spinny admittedly. Always a scary moment when the boat stops responding to helm tho :-((((

    Always due to bad sail plan balance.)

    (Sudden change in conditions will do it every time.

    Well recovered.

  • Yngling's do not capsize. It was a fairly spectacular broach.

    but it wil get bak up due to the keel

  • Great Ride Girls! By now you know that Y's have small rudders and when the helm says ease the main she means EASE the main in those gusts!
