Infiniti G37 Review from Consumer Reports

I love this car! I test drove it once at a Nissan Dealer & it's amazing. The seats are very comfortable & it's very fast! The seats in my 2007 Altima are comfortable, but are even more in this car. My Altima is very fun & has great performance, but I hope to own a car like this someday.

Why the hell would anyone buy a 3 series when you could have this for two thirds of the price? Not to mention it's a nicer car IMO anyways and it will be far more reliable and cheaper to own

@97I30T 3 series = Status symbol, 50/50 weight distribution (handles much better then any Infinity) and don't even mention the price difference because most BMW's are driven by people who are well off and don't mind paying extra for that status symbol. Infinity 37 model = It's just a Nissan. Nothing prestigious about it. Yes, it has a faster engine and its more reliable and cheaper to own but once again, its just a Nissan. Point being, most ppl prefer status over speed.

@USCUSCTrojan1 Mmmmh, I don't think so, I don't like Infiniti but if you check several comparison made by some european magazine you'll be surprised: the Infiniti G37 Coupe has a better handling and the best chassis compared to 3 Series E92 and Mercedes E Coupe in fact the Infiniti G37 coupe has easily won all the comparison against the german rivals.I never loved Infiniti, I'm a Lexus fan but the fact are these,better handling,better steering and above all, the best chassis in his class.

I love this car, one of the best values you can get, the 335i has less hp and costs way more. But of corse the Bmw is way more of a driver's car. :)

BMW's are more for the experience and simplicity, everything just clicks and is effivient, like a Mac, G37 is more for the technical specs and power crammed into a cheap package, like a PC. but thats why i would buy the G37, cause its just technically more for less.

Wow, Infiniti's certainly come a long way since the 90s. I'm grad student now, but hope that in the distant future, I can get a well-equipped 3 series, but BMW and their German brethren charge a lot for what they give. This infiniti seems to be a better value package that preserves much of the same essence as the 3-series. My future upscale car may be something like this. The extra room helps too, since I'm over 6 feet.

Infiniti Recipe for failure:

-Sloppy exterior design

-Class trailing interior

-Shoehorn a larger engine into it without regard for sound characteristics or NVH. The VQ sounds like a freakin wheezing vacuum cleaner. Ward's finally wised up and knocked it off their 10 Best list which is a bit of a joke to begin with.

The Infiniti's VQ engine is much better than any Chrysler, Ford or Chevy engine ever made!

Infiniti has one of the top notch interiors in the business, every surface you touch is soft and nice. The interiors in Chrysler, Ford or Chevy cars are full of cheap plastic!

If you want a good car go for Infiniti, if you want cheap plastics and space age looking cars... go for Chrysler or Ford or Chevy!

Actually, this IS the G37. For the 2009 model year, they put the engine from the coupe into the sedan. So, there is the G37 sedan and the G37 coupe. Know what you're talking about before you make a post.

No. G35 means the 3.5 Liter Engine, coupe or sedan. The G37 means the 3.7 Liter engine, sedan or coupe.

Wow nice mpg there 8 mpg is rockin it. This car seems nice and all but dam it looks like a pansy to the coupe version, Both 335i and is350 look better take it this is faster in a straight line but most people buying this car are not going to race it their buying it for looks and luxury which it lacks in comparison to the other two.

well it all depends on the passengers that you are going to have. if u are gonna have passengers often it is a good idea to get the 4 doors if u only have a few ppl in it then the 2 door car is fun, but if you are gonna get the 4 door one get the sport package, it makes the car a lot sportier and fun.

I own the Infiniti G37x with all wheel drive and it's simply amazing in the turns and in poor weather. I drive about 100 miles a day and I use to hate it, now I look forward to the drive and if there is traffic I hit the Nav system and cruise the back rounds and love it. I highly recommend the car. No buyers remorse here. Have a great day!
