It is a glitch, but there is a difference between glitches that screw things up and glitches that are just strange things happening. They abound in the mega man series. I saw that frog suit business too, weird. I agree that it's a good find.

I would say it's a glitch. I never seen Mario turn into a brown frog when getting hit before...

In Super Mario Bros. 3, getting hit when you're fire mario should turn you into super mario. One of two things should have happened: 1) Mario would be hit by the buzzy beetle, thus turning into Small Mario, then touch the flower and become Super Mario. or 2)Become Fire Mario, then be hit by the buzzy beetle and become Super Mario. Both events were triggered at the same time, and it caused a glitch that incorrectly turned Mario into Small Mario. Also, the frog sprite was in the damage animation.

Might be a glitch due to the way Mario works in the Japanese version of Mario 3, where if you get hit you go back to small mario, like all the other Mario games.

How is this a glitch, when you get hit you revert back to normal Mario so he obviously took the flower first and then got hit. If he was hit before he took the flower the flower would have acted as a mushroom and he would be in his Super state, unless he would instantly get hit again. The logic behind it is so simple I feel sorry for people who don't seem to get it.

Mario should be Super Mario, not small Mario, after this sequence of events. Either he shrinks, then grows back, or gains fire, then goes back to Super Mario. One of those two things should've happened, but neither actually did.

Once I hit a spiny and a powerup at the same time when Mario was small -- it made a weird conglomeration of the powerup and death sounds if I'm not mistaken.

It is a glitch, and it's not something that's happened to you a lot before. There aren't many places where it can happen!

There's obvious a link on some site telling everyone to make fun of this video. There's no other explanation as to why so many people would come and insult what was not a popular video at all in a mere few hours.

the glitch is when hes super mario he gets the fire flower right at the same time an enemy hits him. therefore instead of the right way(turning him back into super mario not little mario) it turns him into small mario. if you have 2nd grade math skills use this example: 1+1-1=1 but the glitch is saying that 1+1-1=0
