as far as i know, gargantuas can only be killed with explosives and scripted events, because they are immune to regular gunfire. the first time i saw one, i actually killed him with a mp5 grenade to the face. it was pretty awesome (:

@kungharry in half life there were 2 gargantuans that had to be killed by special means, 1 by electrocution, 1 by airstrike, there were also 2 on xen that could be killed by conventional means but gargantuans can only be injured by special weaopons, like the charge beam and the gluon gun, or explosives, such as satchel charges, grenades, rockets and in some special cases, the gnarks
