  • If any survived will try to do so for you. Will get my recorder tomorrow and see what I can find!

  • ours have more of a full tone like pruinosus here in centrel IL. in northern IL they look like T linnei but they are very fast in pulse and the opercula is round

  • 100% pure T. linnei. No T. winnemanna to hybridize with here. The only other species that live in this area are T. lyricen and T. chlormera. No hybrids have ever been found.

  • @epb471 can you collect theese populations and photograph the ventrel veiw and coasta bend? i am working on proving mass intogression in alot of T.linnei pruinosa sympatrc zones. if you can get more audio and photos in this area this would be great. the coasta bend and ventrel stripe/pointed opercula should hold up in this location. i am going to an area that has a more pure form of linnei but still not allopatric. most midwest and southern t.linnei are sympatric and i think many hybridize

  • @epb471 man i would love a close up soundfile of some of those in new york. they seem to have the typical maraka sound unlike ours

  • to me this sounds like pure linnei on a cool day. it lacks that full warm tone of a hybrid IMO. winnomana pruinosis sound almost the same in tone and if this is a hybrid it would shock me if their was any winnomana/pruinosis traits found in theese
