  • Is that the one that had squirrels nesting in the air intakes? Sounds good now.

  • what oil do you use. 2t oil

  • @12valvepower4 I use Redline synthetic smokeless two stroke oil, it's not completely smokeless, but the engines do smoke less...

  • it is the beetle japanese

  • Oh... How funny. I was watching the vid and knew exactly where you were. I dump my yard debris right by your shop, and have seen the 360s parked behind the fence. Very cool. I'd love to see one in person.

  • @grandcarriage1 stop by some time....

  • cute car

  • i bet is AWD lol

  • too bad they dont make cars like that no more - small and cheap, simple mechanics, small and weak but VERY economic engine, and beautiful!

  • @bluemoondiadochi smart car. not cheap. but efficient sorta. not beautiful .

  • Alright, I don't wanna sound stupid but, I have a 1990 Polaris 250 Trailboss ATV, it's a single cyl. 2 stroke made by Fuji Heavy Industries, I know Fuji owns Subaru, so do these 2 motors have any relation?

  • Not stupid. Fuji Heavy Industries has a facinating history and has built lots of stuff including airplanes. I guess the engines are related ......like distant cousins

  • I'm looking to buy one, the 360 is my favorite car EVER!

  • mrtheroosterdude the best place to buy one is through the Subaru 360 drivers club. Good luck.

  • Let me understand, you clean pine needles out and call it a full restoration??? What am I missing here?

  • Ha ! times sure have changed right ?. I rebuilt the engine too, by installing a couple of new spark plugs...

  • I agree with you these kind of cars are the most fun to own because they are cheap bust the most fun is driving such car.

I had a FIAT 126 from 1972 with also a engine in the rear.

I loved this car but i had to sell it.

This Subaru reminds me of the Fiat 600 from around the same year and also an engine in the rear.

  • Yep. You hit the nail on the head!

  • Oh my god, I want one of these! You can't deny how cool that car is.

  • Sedans are four doors.. two doors called a Coupe

  • Not in the vintage Japanese microcar world. Honda 600's can be a coupe or sedan both two door.

  • @zoneracer VW Type 1 sedans were all two-door. Sedans are distinguished by having a B pillar, not doors.

  • Ah ha. That is why ,( the B pillar) , makes total sense! especially with the Honda 600's

  • @2stroketurbo Yep, that's it! 'Nother good example were the '50s and '60s American cars.

  • @zoneracer That's not entirely true, know-it-all!

  • i really want one of these

  • Insiders tip: You can join Subaru360 drivers club online and find and awesome deal on a 360 sedan, truck or van. It's surprising how many are out there. Good luck!

  • can a two stroke gas engine run a blower like a 2t diesel.

  • Thanks for sharing that cool car...nice video

  • You are welcome, these cars are too much fun not to share!

  • @2stroketurbo subaru. born from jets.

  • Actually owned one of these while I lived in Okinawa. Great car, could go at least 45MPH if you planned far ahead. But since the speed limit, at the time, was only 30 (50K/ph), not a real issue. Did have an event at the beach where I actually ran over myself with my own car. Notorious getting it to start sometimes, so frequently pushed... the "suicide door" hit me in the back, down I went with the rear wheels trailing down my back. Russell/Mayumi

  • Owch! Not the best car to push start by ones self. I though running over my own foot was bad... you take the cake my friend

  • to start out truck you have to plan ahead. its a diesel

  • do a nsu wankel

  • nice round

    pretty car

    greetings from chile

  • vvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllloouuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • I have a 360, I replaced the engine with a Swiss watch movement. It's still almost as fast.

  • i want one

  • I was just reading about this car in the book about the Yugo The Rise and Fall of the Worse Car This Subaru was imported by Bricklin the same guy that imported the Yugo. They got around safety laws with the 360 because it weighed less than 1000 lbs and the USA Safety laws only applied to vehicles more than 1000 lbs. Technically it was a motorcycle. I believe the original 360 was 1500 lbs but they reduced the weight to get under the wire

  • why can i not access his channel

  • I saw the video history about this car, if sameone could check the history ( find for Project X Subaro 360 Japan series ). This car was a good job result.

  • Do these things have heaters? What kind of mpg do they get?

  • Yes, of course they do. No A/c though...

  • They advertised back in the '60s: 66miles/gallon!

    Better than a PRIUS!!!!!!!!!

  • cool little car wat year...lol i got a buddy whos got a subbie wrx impreza i tell him he should get a 360 instead...lol

  • @leonoff89 is he me. haha

  • after seeing this car i think we under communist rule actually fared good with out communist cars....

    ...one never stops learning!

  • All this and 25 hp too. :)

  • Swap it with an STi engine.

  • moster engine for this car jajajajja

  • Wow, 33,000 miles - That's huge for a subaru 360. I had a sedan, a pick up and 2 vans, they are fun on streets with no stop signs or traffic lights. The cool thing about the sedan is the whole fiberglass eggshell roof pops out.

  • how about a porsche 914

  • CRD wrx sti would be fun. 30-40 mpg and awd donuts in the dirt.

  • gran turismo 4 has the 360. need for speed pro street does not.

  • Very cool!
