All respect for NSU trumpets.. i love the Dizziacs and all, but i believe that Morris brown's section was tighter and the sound was better in the chase battle. People kept "booing" the Latin fanfare that morris brown did but it was tight and lyrical.. very well arranged. .... NSU got them on that Bond theme tho...

Give credit where it is due though. Norfolk went for the higher notes and they hit them while MB went for them and missed. Granted music is more than high notes and sound, if you do plan on going for the higher notes hit them and Norfolk did. Now as far as who did better I'd have to give it to Norfolk. They sounded sloppy as shit on Chase and that 007 fanfare but my money still resides with them.

NO. i meant what i typed. there is more to battling than who can scream the highest. morris brown's sound was fuller and richer. their harmonies blended better because they played with better tone and everything wasnt a hundred lines over the staff and all high and squeaky like nsu. i dont see what all the hype is about norfolk... frankly, they sound like crap to me.
