  • is there a substitute for corn syrup?

  • @YugiohMix3d Use Karo brand corn syrup. I don't know of a substitute. You can check out all the modeling chocolate questions at my website. Under the Questions tab on the nav bar.

  • @YugiohMix3d no but you can buy karo corn syrup on ebay :)

  • @YugiohMix3d liquid glucose :)

  • Can you use white choclate?

  • @Nightdiamond202 Yes you can use white chocolate.

  • yes you can mold this. It has the consistency of a Tootsie Roll. In fact you can mold Tootsie rolls into shapes too. . i recently made a rose with one. Came out really nice.

  • @weddingcakesforyou good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i never thought of that! smart kid ;) ahaha

  • so can u mold this?

  • is it ok to use dark corn syrup instead of light?

  • @Goldisms I have nbot done the dark corn syrup.Try it and let us know ok?

  • Probably not.Give it a try and see what happens. Then let us now know ok?

  • is it possible to turn this into black modeling chocolate by adding come black food coloring?

  • the music artist is Apollo Chamber Ensemble the song is Cello Sonata in C Menuet.

it says so in the video statistics

  • @9Kitsune Thanks. appreciate that :-)

  • wuts the name of this song??

  • @mcwaterstone Im sorry I don't know . I got it on the audio swap that they make available to Youtubers. I Love it too!

  • wait...so do i first boil the water and then just place the bowl of chocolate on top of it and let it sit?

  • @alcantar10 You can do it that way, or just have the heat on real low the entire time. You want to make sure though not to let any steam get into the chocolate, which is the reason you do it over low heat. The moisture will make the chocolate seize up and it wont melt properly if that happens.

  • @weddingcakesforyou ok, thank you. :]

  • can i add food coloring to the modeling chocolate??

  • @rockacookamanga if you use white chocolate then you can add food coloring.

  • i was wondering, could we add food coloring to the modeling chocolate in making flowers or cartoon characters??

  • @rockacookamanga Hi sorry it took me so long. If you are using a white chocolate then yes i think so. But the colors would not show with dark modeling chocolate.

  • @mariechen81 Any good quality chocolate will do. Where are you from?
