Umm, you don't know what you're talking about. When you want to set a record pedaling across the Atlantic Ocean, where you would need to make headway through some extremely windy conditions, and where you want to have your boat make forward motion as efficiently as possible for a long, fast voyage, you want the boat to be efficient, no?
Yes, but at the extremely slow speeds that this boat travels at, a fairing designed for something that will go 100mph is excessive. By no means am I saying that a fairing should be obsolete, but it would be more practical if the design was more geared towards ocean survivability rather than aerodynamics
The thing is pretty damned stable if you saw the stability and wave testing. The only issue I see is it being able to stay on course. Frankly, though, it seems like this guy has gone through a lot to develop it and test it, and I bet he understands what he needs for this expedition far better than you or I.
is that kayak still about I would love to have that... looks awsome good for lakes

How about linking the prop system (dual transmission) to a fan at the top (roof) to provide some ventilation on the inside?

Hows he gonna poop and have room for food and water? Or is there going to be a boat following him giving him that stuff?

no point in having something like extreme aerodynamics in a pedal boat. Good design but not there yet

that is very true

well aerodynamic shape means that big waves are les likely to break something when theyre pierced...

Wonder what the energy output would be if he hooked up that propeller to a rowing machine.
