if i didn't know the background of the art i would assume it was done via computer technology. but work without computers will always surpass the "technoligical crutch".
i was very impressed with your video, and i'm not easy to impress. i like that you are approaching science and spirituality. einstein once said that science without religion is lame, and religion without science is blind.
i think you'd really appreciate the spectacular animations of Jordan Belson. i will contact you later about which one in perticular (it slips my mind). but they are very to find.
This video is beautiful beyond words. I have long been fascinated by fluid dynamics, so am very glad to have discovered your work and explored your web page. That's so amazing that your work is also in The Fountain (which I am eagerly waiting to see)! Thanks for posting your work here.
They are all fluid flows. Mostly on a microscopic scale, driven by pipettes and gravity feeds. Some of them have an element of chemical reaction. There is more detail at www.chrisparksart.com. The music is by Ian Sanderson. He has more on myspace at chocolatetannoy. This piece is actually written in 5.1 sound. I have projected this material onto an IMAX screen over 100 feet across. You will be able to see more of this in the upcoming film, The Fountain, with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz
