I still don't understand why Zuko didn't MOVE when fighting the earthbending guy. He could easily avoided those flying rocks rather than try and block them. Also, why didn't he charge him more than once, and then straight on?

convenient 4 the plot, zuko fails and has 2 use fire bending. otherwise the episode won't have that much of an ending

Well, he was throwing quite a few rocks. If one DID hit real good, Zuko may not be able to recover quickly enough from the first in order to dodge the rest. Perhaps keeping rhythm may have had something to do with it too.
