So I haven't even got my first guitar yet but I know I'll be able to play a bit as I've practised all this on my iPhone app (I know it's not the same but it gives me a rough guide lol). Thanks loads! :)
i dont know why but i have a first act (crapy i know) and it sounds different and i touch other strings while playin i dont know why but i just cant grasp on to it andlearn that way.
Thank you . My son is learning guitar at age 9 and this is very clear. Of course I am learning too ... I play bass (by ear) so this is a learning curve for me too. To people like you who give their time and skills .... it is much appreciated.
thank you you realy helped my but i have a problem when i put my fingure on the i dont know 6th strink and the other ones when ,my fingure touches some other string it sounds aful but you dont have that probelem plz help me
okay this was really helpful! but i have a a few more questions i would like to know ... like should a begginer use there hands to strum at first or no?
@punkshan91 very impressive guitar my friends dad has one and he taught me the A and E Chords the first lesson and the D Chord the next lesson, he said i was natural at picking up the beat i did notice however i had different finger placement than in the video but i was told it doesnt matter as long as they are in the correct frets, is that correct?
@LeylaCharlotte it takes some getting used to our fingers will start to callous and then you will barely feel the strings its natural to feel a little burn or sting while first starting.
That was great tune, I have not heard that in years. Why is it most of the time when someone teaches a song they only teach about a 1/4 of the song ? I can play parts of Wild wood flower , Tennessee flat top box.
its a pain to name the strings like you do.most people learn that the 1st string is e low then so on and it takes a while to get used to it.idk if its different on acoustic but yeah just saying.
dont give up your fingers will hurt only in the 1st month keep practising u cant even imagine how good is to hear urself playing music....i am learner too btw :)
This video is a great help! I just bought a guitar today and had to wait till my next lesson to start playing, but thanks to this I already learned something really useful. Thanks
bought my first guitar last night. this video is so much easier than the other ones on here because of the multiple camera views, plus the slow paced explanations of each chord. this should hold me over until i can have my first private lessons in a week. thanks!!!
Woow thats amazing thank u so much--ur a great teacher -please dont stop with the videos.--ive watched so many "how to learn guitar videos" but was SO CONFUSED but ur far off the easiest and best! (= Thank you
thankyou so much im lookung to buy an electric and i have an acustic all redy im getting relli good and i dint know those 4 chords only heaps of others thankyou u ahve inspired me and wots better nylon or steel string?
just bought a giutar today and found this really helpful thanks!! See what you mean about the C chord hurting though...but i will persevere! So chuffed i can already play something that sounds a bit like music!
is there a book you would recommend to learn all the basics step by step or do you think it's best to have lessons? i don't want to break the bank!! thanks
yeah just like he said, go slowly at first because your not gonna be able to play it as fast as he is playing in the video.. just start off slow and start to speed up a little once you got the fingering down..
I Cant understand any of it i reckon i dont have the patients for it.. LOL
It is a good video, maybe if a took my time with it and studied it i might get somewhere. Its good to see that there people out there like you who are wlling to help people like myself. Thanks
