@omegaplib Indeed it did, but Platinum's contract with Sega is only for 5 games, afterwards they are free to work with any other company. Hideki Kamiya really wants to work with Capcom again and finish Veiwtful Joe once he is able to again. He doesn't have any plans for a new God Hand yet though.

Man....when elvis died i was actually sad would have been soo fulfilling if they teamed up to an extent but would be too corny, hes the only boss that was ALWAYS fun to fight...would be hilarious if there was a elvis mode after die XD.....and whats up with sharon being so annoyingly strong in the first encounter XD

no they're independent now, Platinum Games only have a contract with Sega for 4 Games, Mad World for Wii, Bayonetta for Xbox360 and PS3 and a Nintendo DS game. The last game has yet to be reaveled but I read that Shinjy Mikami will take part in the development.

So there's a chance that God Hand 2 will be announced any time, let's hope for the best.

Will be useless for me though cause I neither own a Xbox360 nor a PS3, still would be freakin cool

Don't worry, Clover renamed themselves Platinum studeos. The company which recently released MadWorld, which has very similar gameplay.

So you can expect God Hand 2 sometime.

People likes to think Azel was Gene's rival in the game just because of the Devil Hand, but it was pretty much Elvis. He fought Gene more than all the other bosses and they never actually hated each other.
