  • HEINEKEN for life

  • whats the small tube that the bottom of the spear is attach to and how does the spear lock in the small tube

  • hahaha lova the idea and mini Keg

  • u can get them online or at your local dive shop

  • Where do u get the band, ive looked at home depot and they didnt have it....Any ideas?? NICE IDEA

  • @SoFlaSpearo .. Hey my spero brotha, check the local Goodwill I happened to use one of those work tubes.

  • @Fshmstr hey dude, i didnt much understand

whats that blue thing at the end the one u hold forpulling.

  • @SoFlaSpearo improvise with cheap elastic bands bundled together into groups and linked with a cat's paw knot to increase the length. Slip a piece of hollow fabric (like a tiny sleeve) over the elastic chain before attaching to the cylinder and center it to protect the rubber. Use a rugged material like cotton duck. You aim by looking through the tube at maximum extension. Put a barb at the end of the harpoon. It works on land as well as in water.

  • @SoFlaSpearo look at smaller hardware stores. Ace has them. Bait and ammo stores usually will have replacement bands for sling shots/wrist-rockets.

  • @SoFlaSpearo I bought a 15m role from scubastore cost about 150 usd

  • hey imade one of those but really modified, you should check out the vid, its cool and i can use it underwater, once i get more materials, i will make a better one

  • wat rubber band did you use ????

  • or dont be a piece of shit and pay to get it chromed....

  • Did he say red Snapper? yea that would be highly illegal. Hawaiian Slings are not allowed in the Gulf of Mexico. You have to use somthing that requires skill like a pole spear.

  • @Cerberus88 ..yeah..cause a Hawaiian Sling doesn't require skill.. *sarcasm*

  • steal a shoppimg cart. from a grocery store the long part is chromed, won't rust. at the tip, drill a 1/8th inch hole. take a peice of a vegetable can, wrap that small piece of can to fashion a barb at the tip of the "spear". put a nail through the barb and the 1/8th inch hole to finish the barb. Neead some string at your end of the spear to draw in your catch.

  • You got any pics? Thanks for the info...

  • Make the tip barbed and your ready to go! Thanks for the idea.

  • It''s too bad they don't have that kind of range underwater!

    the rod i mean.

  • Its called slick rod. You can get at any fab shop. Some people call it cold roll. Hope this helps.

  • @Fshmstr I've been a machinist for over 20 years. This is the first time I've ever heard the term "slick rod", Must be a regional thing.

  • RED NECK

  • Yeah but try hitting something underwater.
