i have this guitar, when i opened the truss rod cover to give it a set up, the hole you would put an allen wrench into appears to be filled with something! i cant put the wrench in! is this a regular occurence with this guitar? thanks!

do you think this is a high end guitar? i would put EVO`s in it.... what do you think? i am an old RG550 player and hope the 1570 will be same or higher quality?

@freakguitar1 I will put bare knuckles in mine, and this guitar is one of the best I've owned. I've playing rg's for about 20-25 years. The guitar in the vid BURNS.

@DougFCKNSteele It's easy to forget. Had to play it a zillion times to engrave it in whatever tactile memory I have in the shot out head of mine. The lick library website has some dude who does a decent tutorial of it. I learned it right around the time you decided to post videos of rainy days at your apartment complex. But seriously, he doesn't teach like you do. The nuances of how you execute a solo are what make the videos you post so fun to learn. Plus you remind me of my hammerhead friends.

@DougFCKNSteele I have an Ibanez RG which I try not too like, as Im a scalloped fender guy really, but it does have an awesome neck and sounded amazing with the EVH frank pup in. shame about the trem though. Used to have a jem that would not go out of tune, might try and get one for that guitar.

Nice to see someone improvise something cool in their own style with this tune btw.

@tehsimo Find the lynch clip called 'in the studio' and just watch and listen. Lynch vibrato should be mandatory for every metal player, but for some reason, vibrato is overlooked in shred technique. Oh well works well for me. Also check out Andy LaRoque's solos on the King Diamond shit. A bit sloppy, but you get the idea. GOOD SHIT!!!
