Turbo diesel is extremely fast, fuel efficient, and full of torque. Some indian company made one with 250 hp 3 - - ft of torque, all wheel drive and 25+ mpg. Their car is too expensive to mass produce in America but regardless you should look stuff up before you post a comment like that...

@Bman0229 I like the ford fusion, its the 2010 car of the year. And i think Ford made up its mind and is making the New ford Taurus the official replacement for the crown victoria. RIP CROWN VIC. The taurus is going to have a v6 direct full injected which will produce about 350hp, and if they add the cop arangments it might be even more. And the Taurus is wayyy bigger than the Old Crown Vic. Plus it has USB so you can play your mp3's wile on patrol. You wont be dissapointed in what ford has next

@stangsaleens7 your right, the new interceptor (according to current news reports) is going to be a taurus, however, its not going to be based off the base-model. What ive read so far is that it is going to be based off the Taurus SHO, which means all wheel drive, a six speed double overdrive auto tranny, and a minimum of 375hp... course, like you say, they are probably gonna also use (if the p71 variants of the crown vic are any indicator) the base-model interior (or lower)
