  • Its an Americanism. To ship something means to transport it, by -any- method, not just by ship.

    In this case, they probably shipped it by train/truck to its final destination.

  • there is no sea. They are neighboring countries!!!!! plus' Switzerland and Germany don't have any tariffs between them so it's almost a domestic shipping for economic reasons.
