With music, I discovered. Every day I discover that different combinations of sounds bring me all kinds of positive experiences. Through music, my inner world is rich and is designed only for me. Nobody I do not mind it, and this is particularly valuable today - the sheer volume of advertising, trash, hypocrisy and violence.
I've always thought it was a big mistake for her to leave Motown when she did - Gordy was grooming her to be his "Big Star" and she might have been as big as Diana Ross if she'd stuck with Berry.
Not necessarily and besides even if she remained, she still wouldn't have gotten the attention Diana Ross received. A lot of great Motown artists fell by the waist side because Mr. Gordy's constant attention on the Supremes more specifically Diana Ross.
I don't know about that, Mary was pretty upset Motown didn't give her royalties for her hit singles plus Motown was now pushing its promotion (or starting to) on the Supremes so I feel if she stayed, yeah, she may have gotten more classic hits (like the Marvelettes did) but she would've eventually left anyways, I feel. She made her mark even BEFORE she released "My Guy".
No hay nada como los clasicos ;)

In the 60's I listened to this album over and over. She was great then and later and for always. Sexiest voice going.

Her voice reminds me a bit of Marilyn McCoo's. It's a great version! :)

Sounds as sweet as she did when she first sang it back in the 60s. One of the best female singers that Motown recorded.

Sad blonde dust mop on her head. She looks broke down and tired! The stupid dead heifer should've stayed on Motown!
Her voice was one note from start to finish.
