@crowsell2008 i have apair for 4 months now and my buddy has the beats by dre. mine sound better.look better ans feel better.also they are better cotoured to my head.
@hypersonic9t I wasn't really thinking about beats. Lots of my friends have them and i was wonder if they were any good. So now I'm between the Bose Q15 and V-Moda Crossfade LP.
I get mine 2morrow i have the xb500s which i use for dubstep but the vmodas have a deeper bass in my opinion. Went to a apple store and tryed em wow vmodas rock cant wait to get them. If u like bass get them they clean ur ears out!
Are these better than the Beats by Dre Pro? I previously owned the Studio and wasn't satisfied at all. I heard white noise and the bass was weak. When i heard the Beats by Dre Pro i was AMAZED!
go to radio shack and you can get the headphones for $99.97, I just picked up 2 pair after returning my beat by Dre as they broke with in only 4 days of having them due to cheap plastic.
Hey guys, i've did some research on google comparing Dr.Dre studios,AND RPOs with LP CrossFades...all i can say is that Dre's headphones suck DICK! (I have the studios myself)
@pshhhhhhBOOM Rochester, New York. I don't have a Costco around, but i sure do live near a Sam's Club. I'll check out the price. If they don't have it, I could go to Amazon and get it from there for $120 anyhow.
@NitroInhale The isolation is bad when not playing but is is great when playing. They help listen to the outside and your mmusic if you have the remote, and it works with your device.
um i got a pair for xmas but out of the box they were defective the jack when lightly touched would cause the sound to stop untill you held the jack in place... im getting a new pair and wanted to know if you had this problem or if its a common problem, thanks
@McRaydaD00kmonster Definitely not a common problem, maybe you just happend to get a defective pair. Hopefully your replacement pair is fine. They are truly great sounding headphones!
@Acuprotech These are over ears, and the M-80's are on ears. Whichever you would prefer, they are both great Headphones. You can't go wrong with V-Moda in my opinion.
good review, but I have to agree, if I was to comment on .your review in a negative light, it would be your robotic voice. Smooth out your sentences, and it's THE not THEE
Awesome review... ik many say u talk like robot, but it's informative, instead of a jackass who keep repeating "um" and "like" the entire video. very high quality video. very detail perspective. 10/10... I wasn't even considering this headphone but now, I'm convinced. Thanks, getting this for christmas xD
@batmanrock33 Ive heard from another reviewer that it isnt but its good for hip hop, rap, pop and electro kind of music, might also be good for Dubstep :D
@bearderific all the custimizable plates that for the lp1's are compatible with the lp2's. you can get the custom plates on v-moda's website. Also, the lp2's come with an alternate set of plates
@mjmets37 ae2's are made with plastic but are at least twice as comfortable, these are sturdier and can be comfortable depending on how big your ears are. If you have big ears and don't like a ton of bass then get the ae2's. Small ears+good bass you should get the crossfades. But the ae2's are cheaper, i got the ie2's myself and i love them, but its your preference!
definitely not worth the price tag. getum for $80 on newegg asap or don't buyum at all. numerous other headphones out there for the same or better price that outperform these.
I love how every headphone review video disses the Beats by Dre. I have a friend who owns them and they aren't that great in my opinion. They are just a pair of overhyped headphones...
I've been looking for a pair of headphones for ages that will go well with my iPod Touch 3 and maybe iPhone 4. It needs to go well with rock, pop, rap, and maybe alternative. I'm torn between these and the ATH-M50s - I've heard the former have really good sound but these look incredible and have a better case and build quality - so please tell me should I get these or the ATH-M50s? or if neither what would you recommend? Thanks
meh i dont know i just bought a pair today and for some reason only one cup sounds strong while the other sounds weak, i tried tightening and turning the jack that connects it to the cup and nothing :( gonna return them tomorrow, any suggestion... very disappointed
gah i have these headphones, dont like them. the noise isolation on these are horrible, and it leaks sound like crazy. way overpriced. i recommend audiotechnica's
Correction, V-moda doesnt supply anything close to high end. Far from it in fact - speaking of the sound that is, the build quality is pretty good though.
@JohnnyReviewer I actually own both i have the beats pros and the cross fades the pros are much better construction and sound don't listen to these biost opinions if you have the money get the pros

Like most of you looking at this I was wondering if I should get the beats or an alternative. I think the beats are great headphones but If like me you are able to find the crossfades for under $130 then its not even worth consideration. They are super comfortable and are the most sturdy and durable feeling phones Iv encountered. Downside? If your not a fan of bass these are not for you...
@zapwert just ordered mine for $130 :) the only beats that are more stylish, well built, and produce a comparable quality audio to these are the pros... and they sport a 350-400 price tag :P
I had these for 2months now love them. I had the studio beats before loved them. I would say these are better still, plus their cheaper. These are better build and look just as good imo and sound as good if not better. These dont have noise cancelling but they reduce noise just as good. They are more comfortable too! SUPPORT VMODA! This was a good review, but you should try to sound a little bit more natural when you're talking. You sounded like a robot reading from a script the whole time.
I bought a pair of these as well as the beats solo hd to test them out. The crossfades have a very nice design, and are very sturdy. They look nice but i dont think they look as nice as the solo's. Now when it comes to audio quality i have to give it to the solo's. The crossfades are slightly better in the lows, the base sounds a little nice and they outperformed the solos on techno/dance/club tracks. However, the solos sound good for those too and outdo the these in pretty much all other genres
the is pronounced "thuh" not theee

IF this is a real person... Kid... YOU'RE WEIRD.
With the exception of the weird way you talk (sounds like a younger Stephen Hawking) the video was VERY clear, good resolves, great handling... ect.
MY advice. Stick to video. Let some one else do the voice over. "Knowing your weaknesses is your strength." ;)
